Fire Emblem Classes for Ponies · 6:56am Oct 23rd, 2013
So hey, as I was writing a chapter I started thinking about other characters in the MLP universe. I know for sure what classes I'd make the Main six and a few others in the Fire Emblem universe, but what about other Side Characters, Background Ponies, Villains, etc? I've already thought up a few out of curiosity and possibly expanding the amount of characters I use in my story but I'd like to ask my readers and followers:
What do you think the pony's class should be and why? (Because they're awesome is an acceptable answer until it gets old)
If it helps get you started, Octavia: lvl.1 Assassin because I'm giving an example, and because I recently watched this video:

Druid for Zecora, yes. However I kinda need a reason as for why he'd be a myrmidon or sage.
1527402 For him being a sage I was thinking how he could travel through time and made a connection between it and magic... And the myrmidon and swordmaster was that I related him to the critical hit animation.
1527402 Druids are DARK magic users... I don't see Zecora as a Elder mage, I see her more as a sage without Light magic or staves. Kind of like her own class, I suppose.

Patience is key, however her profession as a seamstress also requires careful focus and in a way, precision. Which is why I think she could make a good archer.

1713531 Oh dear God Pinkie. She's going to be a Berserker or Swordmaster, I can tell. She's got the speed for both, but Earth Pony means strength, and that fits Berserker better.

She's honestly one of (if not) the toughest because of how random she is. She probably has the possibilities to be just about any class she wants and it could work for her. However, as a starting/base class, I think it would be appropriate for her to be a dancer/bard or thief.

That's a possibility. In Fire Emblem there are some unique classes such as Athos' Archsage and Nergal's Dark Druid so Pinkie having something unique to her wouldn't be surprising. Though I think Pink Party Assassin of Dance would be more appropriate and interesting.

(I would say Dark Flier but..Doesn't exist in this realm.)
Fluttershy- Level 7 Cleric (Or Dancer)
Applejack- Level 6 Knight
Rarity- Level 5 Monk
(I couldn't really think of any for her..)
Rainbow Dash- Level 8 Pegasus Knight (If i seriously need to say WHY...)
Pinkie Pie- Level 1 Party Buccaneer.
Party Buccaneer- Can move over any terrain (Except Water) without hindrance. Ranged. 1-2. Weapons- Party Cannon (Bow, 2-3 range. Power of Iron.) Specializes in Evade stat.
Becomes Party Pirate. (Can move over Water at 1/4th normal movement speed, Random 5-point healing (Luck stat divided by four to happen). ) Unknown how to reach level. Must at least be Level 20 . Learns how to wield lances. Overall average stats.

1726033 Pinkie's class took about a solid half-hour to think of. I REALLY had to think about what she does... To be honest, it was making her appropriate for gameplay that really gave me trouble... But what do you think of the other classes? I just thought what would fit best for them..

Twilight as a sage and Rainbow for pegasus knight would definitely work for sure. Fluttershy's appropriate place would be as a cleric, though I believe that she has the potential for other classes as well. For Rarity, monk could work but I think she's more suited for troubadour or possibly archer. Finally we get to Applejack. As a knight I don't think she's suited for it, not that she couldn't be one, however I picture her fighting style to be heavy hitting with not too much though of defense, so in her case I'd lean more towards her being a fighter or maybe a mercenary.
All in all though, it's a matter of perspective.

True, but Fighters/Warriors sport a HIGH amount of health which still makes them dependable. Just not as tough as knights or generals.

I think it's for the best if we just use classes from the game. Creating classes would be fun, however, there is too many possibilities and it gets hard to put limitations and then they become overpowered. Kind of like Morgan from Awakening. Morgan kicks all kinds of ass.

When I'm thinking about these classes, I'm thinking about more along the lines of their fighting style and stat builds if you wanted to get technical. In other words, Rainbow wouldn't be

Yes, Dark Flier would definitely work for Awakening, however, since in my current story I'm going for FE7 rules, Luna would be a Druid while Celestia is a Bishop.

Well based off the fire emblem lore, Elimine ascended on top of some tower (I can't remember it's name). And honestly, it's not too hard to see how Celestia could be mistaken for a goddess considering her power.
