The new Tarnished Silver story arrives on Tuesday! · 11:10am Oct 14th, 2013
In case you missed the last blog post, this happened.
Yep, I decided to write a new clopfic to celebrate three years of FiM, but, because it's me, I couldn't just be satisfied with the quick-and-very-dirty story I was originally planning on writing. Especially not when the winning suggestion took place within the Tarnished Silver canon. I couldn't help but inject it will all sorts of feels and drama, because that seems to be what I do!
So yes, this fic will be longer than originally planned. At least two parts, but no more than four. It will have hot pony sex, but also hot pony emotions. And Princess Cadance, for some reason! And it takes place during the ending of A Silver Sky, so don't read it if you haven't finished that story yet!
And since it just wouldn't be Tarnished Silver without last-minute delays, look for the first chapter on Tuesday, not Monday as originally planned.
I'll be going weekly with this one, too, so you'll get a chapter each Tuesday until it's done! GET HYPE.
Also, if anyone knows of a good fanart of Princess Cadance and Silver Spoon I can use for the cover image, let me know. As far as I can tell there are zero images of them together, aside from big group shots.

I guess I could have put Cadance here since the new story has her in it. But she can't rock a contemplative breakfast tableau like Octy.

Well, in for an inch, in for a mile... I guess it's time to head back to an old favorite cringe-worthy, tear-jerky canon that made me what I am today. I look forward to seeing what else can be dragged out of that universe.

wait, this is going to be about how silver's view of love broken, and its at the end of A Silver Sky? but wasn't that already resolved? or did silver just come to terms with being an individual? i just want some clarification... and something to post about, your a good writer by the way

It was resolved, but as you may recall there's an eight-year timeskip between the fall of the Circle and the final chapter of the series. This story takes place early during that timeskip, a few months after the Circle fell. It shows a little more of Silver's healing process, and also introduces Cadance and some issues she's dealing with.
