Canterlot Inbox Question Submission Guidelines and Collection · 1:20am Oct 11th, 2013
Hi. If you want to send a question in to Canterlot Inbox, you've come to the right place. There are rules, however:
1. Your question might not be accepted! Please understand this. I have a set of criteria that I run my questions by. Don't feel bad if they don't make the cut, just try again.
2. If I accept or reject your question, it WILL be deleted! I do this so I will not repeat questions every chapter, not because I hate you or your question. If your question is not deleted, it means that I haven't gotten around to it yet.
3. Please specify who you want to ask the question to. Questions should follow this format: 'Dear (host name/names): (question)?'. Any questions that aren't like that might be rejected. If you want to ask your question to all of the hosts on the episode, ask it to 'Canterlot Inbox Team'. I will say who will be on next week's chapter in the author's notes.
4. Please try to make it as grammatically correct as possible. Pay attention to those red underlines!
5. Don't ever ask a question that says a character of yours a friend or acquaintance of the hosts. EVER. ALL questions like this will be rejected, no exceptions. The hosts have never seen or heard of your characters, so don't even try. OCs will only be on the show if I have to make up a question to be asked.
6. Questions can ask ANYTHING, as long as it won't offend anybody. The list of off-limits topics INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, RACISM, SEXISM, DISCRIMINATION, OR ANYTHING ELSE I DEEM INAPPROPRIATE. When it comes to MY STORY, MY JUDGEMENT IS ABSOLUTE. No arguing. Go watch episodes of 'Respawn Inbox' on YouTube for good examples of questions, as this story is based off of that show.
7. The hosts might make fun of your question. I DO NOT AIM TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS BY THIS! You will always get a serious answer to a question.
8. This post is for QUESTIONS FOR THE HOSTS TO ANSWER, not for anything else. Anything else should be said at the story itself.
9. Feel free to ask questions to past hosts, as I can guarantee that each host will be on at least twice.
10. You are allowed to ask holiday-themed questions, but they won't be answered until the relevant holiday. The Equestrian holidays are things like Hearth's Warming Eve, Nightmare Night, Winter Wrap-Up, Running of the Leaves, etc.
11. No questions about the hosts' personal lives. I've said it many times: go watch episodes of 'Respawn Inbox' on YouTube for the best examples.

Dear Princesses Celestia & Luna,
Ah, it's a nice change of pace to finally talk with Princess Celestia herself, along with Princess Luna for a third time now. All of my questions are for both of you:
1. As you already know, I'm an alien currently living in a hole in the ground with nothing but a ton of bits which I can't use, lest Ponyville fall to mass panic once again upon seeing me. While I can blend in similar to Changelings, I'd rather be upfront with my situation and not try to hide my existence from ponies, lest I'm discovered and cause the aforementioned mass panic. To that end, would it be at all possible to receive some support in convincing Equestria's citizens that I'm trustworthy and even quite useful?
The next two questions are in the spirit of CI.
2. For what reason do you both go by the title of 'princess' and not 'queen'? I have no qualms with it, of course; I'm merely asking for curiosity's sake.
3. Aside from you two, there's only two other known (key word) ponies who've ascended to alicornhood, and both symbolize a specific virtue; Cadence = love, while Twilight = friendship. Since love is superior to friendship, friendship can tame despair, and despair trounces love my question is this; does there exist an alicorn of despair?
Dear Celestia and Luna:
I'm one of the rare beings that catches this show from outside Equestria. Interdimensional websurfing is a blessing, don't you think?
Fanfics were mentioned some time back. I'm curious to know what either of you think about various fanfic concepts that have grown to possess ridiculous reader bases (whether those reader bases are for or against said concept) such as The Conversion Bureau, My Little Dashie, etc. and if you have a favorite story (or stories) and/or authors from these massive fanfic universes and/or recursive fanfictions. (As I'm aware that the Conversion Bureau isn't really a shared universe but rather an explosion of recursive fics that present the concept in various lights with various versions of the mane six, the two of you, and hundreds if not thousands of OCs and that each has their own take and worlds, try not to drive yourselves too crazy over this.)
Furthermore, being an interdimensional entity myself, I know for a fact that each fanfic spawns its own reality somewhere in the multiverse, and thus all characters that exist within them are real. I have to ask, which characters would you find most interesting to meet if you had the chance to cross into their reality?
Oh and for a final question for the both of you, what would you consider the most demented, crazy, and out and out warped thing you have ever seen or done? And finally for Luna, what insane, demented, and warped idea/concept.whatever have you always wanted to try but haven't done so yet for whatever reason?

What is your opinion on on the Hawking black hole information paradox theory?
I've heard both sides of the argument, but gamma radiation released as information seems a little outlandish. As Celestia's top student (Considered to be one of the greatest minds in all equestria), I believe you may be capable of a valid opinion.
