I've been writing fanfiction for about two years now. It's hard to believe it's already been that long since I sat down and decided I'd write a story based on the Soul Eater universe. I still write in that universe to this day, but for the past year I've dedicated most of my time and writing to ponies. And today, I discovered something I really can't believe.
Half of which are from the Soul Eater universe, and the other half about ponies.
For those of you that don't know, this is from a site called Fanfiction.net, where I first began my journey into writing. You'll notice that some of those stories aren't about MLP, but even so, I've reached my goal of 100,000 views. 100,000. I don't think I've ever felt so much pride for my work than I do right now. I know some of the authors on this site have double that on pony stories alone, but this is still a big deal to me.
If you're having doubts about your writing, don't give up. Never, ever, ever give up on writing, because no matter what, you're always improving. Each attempt will be better than the last so long as you keep trying and strive to do better. Even if you don't have plans to write, don't give up on the things you do want to do and the things you really love.
Thanks for all the support, guys, I really mean it. I hope to make that number on my profile here continue to rise until I can say I've reached 100,000 views on this site, and until that day comes, I'll be striving for better.
I have a long way to go, but I'm determined to do it.

Don't say that. Seriously, I know you'll get to that point. As far as I can tell, I've been at it a little longer than you have and besides, being an editor has nothing to do with story views.
(I think the pressure presented to me for having so many ongoing stories makes me write more. Too many ideas...
