I've polished up Fuchsia and Lavender are (Not) Dead. Aside from grammatical corrections and spelling errors, some dialogue has been altered or expanded to allude to upcoming prequel installments, as well as to properly reflect Equestria Girls canon. To clarify canon, I mean printed material will either be referenced in broad strokes (Anon-A-Miss incident) or re-imagined/adapted with the

So a hurricane plows into bar...

Or at least she's predicted to do so over the next few days. Knowing how hurricanes have passed through the Carolinas in recent years, we're expecting Florence to weaken significantly once she makes landfall, and all we'll get is just several days of rain and some wind. However confidence does not negate preparedness -- contingencies are in place in the event Florence does pack a bigger punch

    Moment of Reflection

"I've heard one side called fascist and cruel, the other called fairy tales for snowflakes. Neither is true. The middle ground has gone missing."

Current Timeline For FIM · 2:36am Sep 24th, 2013

Something I've been researching since the finale of Season Three. Note, the timeline is nearly complete; only a few publications remain ambiguous in their chronological placement

*Note: Seasons 2 & 3 presumably air in chronological order. All comics confirmed to occur after Season 2.

Not yet included in timeline
COMIC: Twilight Sparkle
COMIC: Fluttershy
COMIC: Pinkie Pie
NOVEL: Under the Sparkling Sea
NOVEL: Pinkie Pie and the Rockin’ Ponypalooza Party
NOVEL: Rainbow Dash and the Daring Do Double Dare

Chronology of Friendship is Magic (Canterlot Wedding onwards)
TV: Canterlot Wedding (Season 2 finale)
•Neigh Anything occurs almost a year after this episode, as confirmed by Shining and Twilight.
o Gazebo Repair is confirmed by Applejack to happen later after Neigh Anything. Since the Summer Wrap-Up Festival occurs on the last day of summer, the placement of the wedding is in early fall.
COMIC: Rainbow Dash
•The story begins at the Summer Fall Festival. Going on a limb, but this has to be a different celebration from the Summer Wrap-Up Festival in Gazebo Repair. With that said, this must occur shortly after autumn begins.
o A month passes during the comic, where there are non-stop overcast skies. This conflicts with the weather of episodes or comics that occur during this time, so this can be pushed back to this point in time. Also, this allows time for Chrysalis to build up her forces and set the stage for The Return of Queen Chrysalis
COMIC: The Return of Queen Chrysalis (Issues 1-4)
•Multiple sources confirm this arc occurs between Seasons Two and Three.
•One month must occur in order for Chrysalis’s forces to rebuild themselves, as stated by a Changeling commander. Following that, an additional three days is the amount of time spanning across the story arc.
TV: The Crystal Empire (Season 3 premiere)
•This would have to happen a good while before Games Ponies Play and Just For Sidekicks. Even with magic at their disposal, it would take a great deal of time for the Crystal Empire to construct the coliseum.
o On the other hand, notice how quickly crystals grew during the episode. If that power could be harnessed, the coliseum would be up and ready in a matter of days, not months. For practical purposes, though, the placement of the two-part arc will be a shortly after The Return of Queen Chrysalis.
COMIC: Applejack
•Stated in-story to happen on Hearth’s Warming Eve.
•Considering the moral of this story is the same as Apple Family Reunion’s, it could here rather than later for the following reason.
o Applejack sees the lesson relevant to her immediate family in the comic. Later, in Apple Family Reunion, she learns it again when applied to the extended (and entire) Apple Family. Differing circumstances and all that.
TV: Too Many Pinkie Pies
•If the screenshot on the Hub’s Facebook page, posted 22 September 2013, is anything to go by, this episode occurs during the summer. Why else would Rainbow Dash sun bathe groundside?
COMIC: The Cutie Mark Crusaders
•Scootaloo states it’s been a week since summer vacation started. North American schools typically let out around the beginning of June.
o Too Many Pinkie Pies could take place during said week, allowing more time for succeeding events to occur.
•As mentioned below, the Apple Family Reunion doesn’t occur until the beginning of summer (late July).
TV: One Bad Apple
•The Summer Harvest Festival occurs, meaning school is out for the summer. Ergo, the events of Micro Series: Cutie Mark Crusaders have passed.
•Also, and needless to say, Babs and Apple Bloom meet again in Apple Family Reunion.
TV: Magic Duel
TV: Sleepless in Ponyville
TV: Wonderbolts Academy
•Note that four days pass during the course of the episode (three, if Pinkie Pie was adamant in delivering the care package to RD as soon as possible).
COMIC: Rarity
•Trixie appears at Rarity’s party, no one seeming to be irked by her presence. This implies the comic succeeds Magic Duel, though the next point pushes its placement further.
•Pinkie Pie yells to Rarity “Don’t forget to write!”. She then glares at Rainbow Dash, who embarrassingly comments she meant to. This is a nod to the beginning of Wonderbolts Academy.
TV: Apple Family Reunion
•Granny Smith comments the last reunion was 100 moons ago. This is a saying meaning a great deal of time has passed.
o Season One lasts from the summer solstice to sometime in the spring. Season Two begins in the early fall and ends a year later. Season Three begins around a month after Canterlot Wedding, leaving the reunion to happen around the summer solstice again, three years after the series premiere.
TV: Spike at Your Service
COMIC: The Return of Nightmare Moon (Issues 5-8)
•Occurs around this time for multiple reasons:
o Babs Seed returns. Apple Bloom mentions in Apple Family Reunion she has not seen her since One Bad Apple.
o Trixie appears and happily comments on second chances, referencing Magic Duel.
o Lightning Dust appears, presumably realizing the consequences of her recklessness in Wonderbolts Academy and redeeming herself.
o Discord would most likely have had an active role in protecting Ponyville from the Nightmare forces, considering he turned over a new leaf in Keep Calm and Flutter On. Since he has not made and appearance in this arc, it is assumed this occurs before Discord’s freedom from imprisonment and subsequent reformation.
Then again, he didn’t even make a cameo appearance in Magical Mystery Cure, which leaves the placement of this arc somewhat questionable.
TV: Keep Calm and Flutter On
TV: Games Ponies Play/Just for Sidekicks
•Concurrent with one another.
•Location of venue for upcoming Olympic Games is confirmed by the International Committee around late summer. Ergo, the Equestrian Committee presumably does the same and this episode occurs late summer.
COMIC: Neigh Anything (11-12)
•Shining Armor and Twilight both mention the former’s upcoming wedding anniversary. This means almost a year has passed since A Canterlot Wedding.
•Applejack mentions the Summer Wrap-Up Festival happening later in the day, confirming Zen and the Art of Gazebo Repair occurs after Neigh Anything.
COMIC: Zen and the Art of Gazebo Repair (9-10)
•Occurs on the last day of summer.
TV: Magical Mystery Cure (Season 3 finale)
•Note Twilight has ascended to alicorn status at the end of this episode.
TV: Equestria Girls
•As mentioned by Cadance, Twilight’s coronation has passed.
•Occurs during the fall as the movie is centered over Canterlot High’s Fall Formal, which Twilight considers the equivalent to the Grand Galloping Gala.
•Time flows at an even pace between the human and pony universes.
NOVEL: Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell
•In the beginning of Equestria Girls, Cadance states she hasn’t seen Twilight since the coronation. Cadance is visited by Twilight in the novel and is the very pony that starts Twilight on her quest for the titular spell.

Feel free to post any suggestions, criticisms, changes, the who shebang.
