I just now realized that during Pinkie's inspiring flugalhorn performance in Crystal Empire, she is literally just yelling "FLUUUGAAAALHOOOORRRRNNN" into a flugalhorn:

Sugarfree has been a bit slow going due to work search-related bleh. My contract ran up a couple months ago and finding another one has been waaay harder than expected. I feel guilty writing, rather than job hunting, so yeah. A little over halfway done, so it'll probably be another week, likely.
Make it just half awesome as the last ones, and I will forgive you.
Just kidding! Take your time to bring us another masterpiece Wade!

Hey I don't mind waiting for the next chapter, take you time. Also I know how it feels, I've been job hunting since January, though not as hard I should.
To make matters worse, we know that Pinkie has a very keen grasp of how musical instruments work. To the point where she can play ten at once.
So, basically, we can conclude that she could probably play the damned flugalhorn like a pro. And probably make some wizened Flugalhorn master weep at the beautiful skill. But instead she decides to yell into it for fun.
Don't fret about it, Wade.
Though as usual, if you need any kind of help, poke and prod at me.
I feel your pain regarding the job search; getting my current contract involved a year of looking, and I'll have to do it again in either one or seven months (depending on whether or not I apply the verbal assurance of a 6-month renewal).
I've been enjoying Sugarfree a lot, and I look forward to watching the "it's complicated" romance between Joe and Celestia play out.

Yup, the job market right now is just... all kinds of horrid. What work there is, is short-term, contract-based stuff that pays waaaay too little, and never offers benefits. Actually, my last few positions haven't even had taxes taken out — they just paid me directly, by check, and then come tax season, taxes take a pretty big chunk of my cumulative salary. No bueno.
Ended up jumping fields to technical writing, recently, and I'm getting a bit more of a response, so eh. We'll see.

God, she was like a little kid with a kazoo once she got her lips around that instrument. Pinkie knows a good time when she sees one.
