Thanks for all the kind words :) · 1:36am Sep 20th, 2013
I got a really heart warming private message by Slipmat that I have decided to respond to in a blog post.
"[WARNING: My Little Slave SPOILERS AHEAD. YOU ARE WARNED]
I was at first sickened by the whole idea of Fluttershy, as cute and simple and nice as she was, being raped and dominated to the point of mental and physical exhaustion. I have always loved Fluttershy as a character on the show, as she does reflect a lot of me in a number of ways. (Yes, I do feel a weird sort of connection with this fictitious character) But seeing her becoming hurt and wrecked and literally torn apart by Redblood pushed my limits to the point where I have lost sleep after reading a few chapters at a time. I couldn't stop reading this story though, no matter how much I wanted Fluttershy's nightmare to end. One point for keeping me hooked and interested at something I almost couldn't stand to keep reading.
As the story progressed (Ch. 25 and onwards), I could see what was happening in the story, that it wasn't just another clop fiction, another fetish clop with some random OC. This story had so much depth in it, and managed to develop the characters well, even showing a soft side of Redblood I would have never expected. Another point for somehow making a clopfic, that isn't JUST a clopfic with great characters to boot.
Now come chapter 30, you did the impossible and threw in a "Plot" twist (See what I did there) SO HARD that I nearly broke my neck. I was speechless (metaphorically speaking) and I couldn't comprehend what the hell just happened. That is a bonus point for not only turning a story completely on it's head, but then continuing to flip it in every single direction that just made me dizzy and confused.
On to Ch. 31/32, You seamlessly managed to employ nearly EVERY pony in this grande facade of senseless and selfish acts, each contributing and somehow making a huge impact on the story itself. That is a big point there for weaving a tale that incorporated characters from all over the pony universe.
Finally, I would like to point out how descriptive about everything that happened, how every painstainkly meticulous detail was taken into account. True, someponies in the comments have raged a bit, wondering how Flutters could possibly survive in the cage, needing to take care of certain bodily functions. Now those intelligent enough to read in between the lines, know that you left out thoses part for the sake of the story, and I congratulate you on managing to stick to everything that was written, making up for those small details that would have made no sense to put in. That is a fifth point for being so amazingly descriptive in so many ways, rivaling many great authors of today. Very few are able to sew together a tale that bring together the little things that people will notice, and sticking to them.
All in all, This is going to be a treasured story that I shall want to re-read over and over again. I am truly in love with your work, and I will probably save your other stories, once I am finished them. You mustn't stop now, The Mystery Fluttershy Fan. You have a wonderful talent and I am sure many look up to you, admiring your work as I do.
Final Score: 5 out of 5 scarred-for-life Fluttershys /
*As a side note, I did NOT clop to any of this (sorry to disappoint), I was just to scared to feel guilty, although many chapters I would consider Clop-worthy."
Thank you Slipmat.
I need to stop promising a chapter after a time limit. :(
My access to the computer is very limited at the moment, so I couldn't really find motivation to spend that time writing. But thanks to kind words from so many people about my writing in general, I have a plan.
I've decided I'm going to go old school and actually write drafts of these chapters on YE OLDE pen and paper and then type them up quickly when I have time. This will give me something fun to do when I don't have the computer and hopefully motivate me to finish not just this story, but my others too.
So no promises about when the epilogue will be out, but I'm probably gonna start writing it on paper tonight
