Wow but writing takes time ... at this exact moment, I happen to be short on it, as the human who is writing these words has major deadlines looming in the next two weeks which inexplicably have nothing to do with ponidom. So, I'll give you teasers, just so that you know my heart continues to beat even though I haven't time to finish chapters any time soon.
The upcoming chapter of Sweetie Belle's Cutie Mark will include a song. With notes and music and melody and lyrics, albeit lyrics you'll have to imagine the singing of unless somepony cares to sing soprano for me. My tenor voice would be entirely inappropriate. I have written it and am in the process of perfecting the (digital) performance. I should've known I wouldn't be able to keep music out of this story for long... The chapter will also include character development, weepiness and creepiness.
The upcoming chapter of Lost in Her Eyes is extraordinarily shiptastic, I assure you. I have written some words that are actually trying to set sail, I have to pin them down. That pun caused a very small brain hemorrhage. (Are you supposed to capitalize "Her" in a title? I've never been fully clear on which words aren't capitalized, I usually just decap short prepositions ...) Would people appreciate more songs in this? My musical style isn't particularly similar to the upbeat pony norm, so I'm trying not to go crazy with it, but the response was pretty positive last time.
