Updates and the Complete Reason for my Hiatus

Holy nuggets, loves; it's been way too long since I've seen anything remotely related to this blog box, let alone anything resembling Fimfiction's layout as a whole! I know that many of you must have thought - much like the actual character one-shot of The Mane-iac herself - that I was dead, and for what it's worth... you'd be right. I was dead.

    MORE ART

It's been a while since I last had one of these blog posts, however, this is done in order to thank someone pretty dear to me for the miraculous cover art for Silas Epista. Of course, it's up for you all to see. I'd really like to thank StandardIssue, who's also one of the admins for CGotG, for this kickass rendition of a commission I paid

This is buy far the most entertaining read I've ever had on this sight. It's a nonstop roller coaster of witty dialogue and character interaction; patriotism, and characters that seemed too real to be fictional ponies from a cartoon show.

Jericho is a masterpiece that is highly underrated and cannot simply be expressed by mere words alone.

The incorporation of the rich and strong Reich-mentality that he's given the main character, Jericho, seems to take a somewhat permanent backseat to his mentally-impaired side. The Reich mentality is still there, but Crushric does a seamless job in coalescing the two sides together into a "somewhat" likable chaotic-good character.

I use the phrase "somewhat" with the best intentions, of course. You're compelled to either hate him or love him, but you will always respect him.

Crushric even incorporates proper German into the text. It flows so smoothly that I've caught myself understanding the context of what Jericho is saying, even though I've never taken a German class in my life.

The chapters are lengthy, but provide enough mental stimulation to keep the reader interested until the end.

I give it a ten out of ten!

If you're interested in taking a peak at such wonderful literature, then by all means click the title of the story up top!

And give him my regards if you go!

This is Dog Days saying, "Where the fuck's my food bowl!?"
