So, some people might know that I keep talking about an optimalverse story, but I haven't actually posted it yet. I've been absolutely exhausted lately, and didn't want to post it until I finished writing/editing Chapter Seven, but I'm only 20,000 words in and considering posting it after Chapter Four.
So I dunno, we'll see what happens.
I'm sure the dozen or so people following me are interested to know that Two Steps From Hell is now the soundtrack for my life.

So, rather than be a good little writer and finish the true chapter one tonight, I have decided to analyze some of the characters that are already in the story. After chapter one is released I will do another blog entry with some of the humans.
I don't think this really qualifies as a spoiler. I just felt I should mention that in the Rhapsody universe, Luna doesn't live at Canterlot castle. There are two reasons for this.
1)
If she is resting/living in Canterlot, why would she need to fly in from outside of the bubble?
I'm about to start writing something new, and when I write I like to make character sheets for each of my characters. It helps me internalize them a bit better and I like that I am limited in what each is capable of. Lately I am enthralled by the roleplaying system designed by Green Ronin for A Song of Ice and Fire, so I am using that.

Actually I was trying to spend the entire day asleep, so I could recover. But it didn't really work out. ;_;
And now thou hast forsaken us!
Not sure how many words I've written of actual stuff that will go into the story as opposed to planning but it'd be close to 20,000 as well. I'm largely in the same boat. I was hoping on getting it out this year but we'll have to see. I'm probably being a bit too ambitious and might end up dropping it. Likewise, I want to get about five chapters completed before I post it.
Regardless, I hope you don't overwork yourself and that the story turns out good.
