Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiak Help Wanted! · 8:00am Aug 20th, 2013
Greetings. I've recently started getting into Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiak thanks to a battle on factpile (I know, I know) and have watched up till episode 40 as of right now. In that time, I have noticed a lot of similarities between the characters there and the ones in MLP:FiM (specifically, Seiya and RD, Shiryu and AJ, and Andromeda and Rarity) and have been hard at work on trying to make a crossover with a plot and story that satisfies both fans of MLP and Saint Seiya...
...I've hit a bit of a snag with that and need some help in getting it off the ground.
So, if anyone here has suggestions for how to do a Saint Seiya/MLP:FiM crossover and do it well, then, by all means, I'm listening.
Shun and Rarity? Sorry, but even though Shun's defining traits are compassion and willingness to self-sacrifice (which maaaaaybe can be seen as a sort of generosity), despite being handsome - in a bishounen sort of way - Shun never cared about his looks, at all. He always gave the impression of someone who wouldn't even bat an eye if he got a few scars during a fight (unlike, for example, Lizard Misty), like a true saint.
As a fellow Saint Seiya fan, I would love to see a well-written crossover, and personally think it would be easier to find a way to get one of the saints (or even one of the goldies) to Equestria, maybe two tops, instead of all of them. And also easier to manage. But that's up to you.

This may be really late but i had this idea for a while. Be warned it takes place after the Hades arc
Hades is defeated and sent to oblivion, there someone ofershim a deal, to be brought back to life in another world and well he ascepts. In equestria(some time after season 5) the groups is gathered to see a star shower, but then a star falls in the everfree forest.
Celestia and Luna felt enormous power that dwarfed their own and go with the elements to the place, there the find a male Alicorn(with sombra's colors). Now Hades is a pony and has to live in equestria but feelings he now has for both Luna and Flutershy start to emerge, not only that but now he has to dfend what he helds dear from Athena.
Also another story is that Hades is a Brony

3462868 Well. For Luna i find it Natural as for fluttershy she could remind him of Persephone but said goddess betrayed him and he falls for Fluttershy because of her own virtues. Also maybe later Hypnos and Thanatos apear as Alicorns but as Hades is more in the likes of Celestia and Luna. Hypnos and Thanatos are closer to Twilight and Cadance. The 108 specters could be a mixture of earth pony, Unicorn, pegasus and bat pony

3463545 Personally no. While i love the series(mostly the main one and some of the movies but i disliked omega) im not fond of the main cast(exept Ikki)
I think it would be quite funny seeing Ikki trying to be a loner, and Pinky just wouldn't leave him be untill he accepted her as a friend and come to his welcome-to-ponyville party (remember that episode with the donkey?).
(Also everypony mistaking his name for "icky" and thinking he's gross.)
If you think about it, Ikki has quite a bit in common with Luna. Both fell to the dark side (jealousy for Luna, rage and madness for Ikki), tried to kill their respective siblings, and were brought back thanks to the power of friendship (coupled with an asskicking, in Ikki's case).
And an obligatory "Did I hit myself with my own phoenix-illusion-fist?" upon seeing himself in Equestria for the 1st time, and a "I should never let Seiya/Jabu know that I'm a pegasus/unicorn, or I'll never hear the end of it".
