I don't know about you guys, but I certainly think this is quite the milestone for my first fanfiction! I am so glad that all of my hard work truly paid off in the end. And I've got all of you, my readers, to say thanks :)

I remember when I first started writing, I Couldn't Save You. I was roaming through countless pony artworks in deviantart looking for some inspiration. Something simple to hone my writing skills. This was due because my previous epic fanfiction I spent writing the whole winter break was a complete and utter failure. Back then I was a newbie, and I was entirely sure that it would be the next big hit in all of fimfiction... *bursts out laughing*.

Anyways, a certain user who proofread-ed my story saved me from experiencing the worst kind of nightmare for a writer: humiliation. I'll let you guess which was the user who saved me from myself. HINT: One of his stories is featured in my user page and it's a Sad one.

Despite of that failure, I didn't give up. After several hours searching for inspiration in deviantart, I found the original comic of I Couldn't Save You by ~Capt Nemo. I researched literally everywhere to see if there was a fanfiction of that comic. When I saw there wasn't, I swooped in for the kill and started writing it in the early February of this year.

And there you have it! After months of hard work and several proof-readings. I can safely say this was a successful project! I even submitted my story to Equestria Daily a few days ago. I want to see if it's worthy enough to be part of the big leagues.
