    The next chapter of Peace and Isolation...

    Will come out the day after Christmas! It is finished, and currently undergoing editing for publication. Also, after some reconfiguring of how future chapters will be written, Chapters 9.3 and 10.1 will be finished sometime in January.(Something I haven't been able to do November of last year.)

    Preview - A Slice of Life on the Battlefield

    Hey guys, sry I couldn't get this up earlier today. My family and I went to our high school's football section championship (we won, 35-21.:yay:) Before I head off for work tonight, here is the promised preview I mentioned earlier for Peace and Isolation. Enjoy!
    (Author's Note - This is a rough draft, and is not indicative of the final product...)

    Would anyone care for a preview?

    Hey guys, I know that the holidays are hectic for everyone (including me), what with trick or treating, thanksgiving, watching the Season Premiere ( and loving it:yay:!) and sometimes we don't have a lot of time to work on the things we like.

Here it is, mid-August, and summer vacation is almost done. Over the course of four months, three chapters have been written, and three new stories have been published. Overall, not awe-inspiring, but certainly a lot of headway. This post, more or less, is to cover the current pertinent facts related to this account- who's watching and favoriting, how far the next chapters are coming along, and what the next couple of months have in store.

As of this moment, I currently have 67 followers, including Rated Ponystar (who I'm following as well). Its really something when a successful writer- one who's been around longer and has had more popularity- likes and approves of something that you've created. As for the breakdown of favorites it goes like this;

Peace & Isolation- 419 faves
A Home Set Apart- 62 faves
Trinity- 40 faves
World-Jumper: Black Knight of Equestria- 19 faves
A grand total of 540, a good number by any means.

Now into chapters and stories themselves. As many have made known in the comments, the Battle of Appleoosa was somewhat... underwhelming, and the following Interlude- written by General onefish as a request- was a dealbreaker for some. For both of these I apologize- I have never written a battle scene on that scale before, and I rushed through certain parts to focus on scenes I felt should have more weight (i.e., Jacob's scene). The Interlude, while written by someone else and taking far longer, was done following a script I had provided. Furthermore, it was a scene I wanted to spell out the current relationship between the Emperor and Luna, and the delay allowed me to focus more time on and publish the other three stories.

Current Progress on each new chapter;
World-Jumper; A Change of Harmony, Part 1- 575 words. Part 2- 54 words.
Trinity; Hard Landings- 3,166 words. About 3/7s done. ( May end up being broken into two parts, depending if it gets far beyond 10k words).
A Home Set Apart; Dealing with a Hostile Princess- 161 words.
Peace & Isolation; A Darkness in the Forest- 3,205 words. About 1/2 done.

Now onto the big part- scheduling and pacing. I admit, I get distracted from work and writing takes time for me. Quality over quantity, and all that. But of course, everyone must consider real life issues when working with schedules. Bad News- School's starting in two weeks, and things like homework and projects will take a bunch of time. Good News- my classes are going to be on Tuesday and Thursday, leaving much of the week to write and work.
On a somewhat related note, I'm currently involved- on various levels- with 2 RPs over on Equestria Divided. The First one- Dark Carnival- is about a knock-off of the Cult of Laughter, and it might be dead now. The other one- Blood and Hooves Conquest- looks like a promising Total War-esque game that I've applied for, and look forward to playing.

Anyway, that's all for now.

(P.S. The term "ASB" is more or less used to describe the cosmic force that does extreme magical or interdimensional stuff that never gets explained or mentioned again, and seems impossible in context. An example would be a typical HiE story- a guy gets sent to Equestria. No one knows how it happened, why it happened, and its never brought up in detail ever again. Or the Conversion Bureau- Equestria gets sent to Earth, and its very nature starts killing people. No one knows how it happened,why it happened, and have no way to reverse the process. In truth, any crossover fic can be classified as ASB, as the author is combining two worlds that normally have nothing to do with each other. In the end, the ASB event is a means to an end- the story itself. )

(Final Note : I've come to the realization that all my fics so far are somewhat connected to each other through a simple theme- the Multiverse gods, "ASBs". Consider- The MO of ASBs is to mess with space-time and throw random stuff at each other to see what happens. They brought the Trinity crew to Byzantine, a world they created, and are explicitly named. In HSA, Robert's family is selected by "the gods" to go to Equestria. In World-Jumper, a multiverse god named Enoch uses an individual to help coordinate ASB events. And Peace & Isolation's multiverse- a combo of four of the current most popular franchises on the internet- is something right up their alley. Following that train of thought, all stories written so far are happening in the same omniverse. )

Yea, at least you still have some vacation left. Today was my first day back to school...

...but I'm not complaining. I'm enjoying it. I'm on second year of High School (note: I'm Finnish), but I'm gonna have a shiiiiiit load of stuff to do because I dun goofed the first year. All math courses have to be redone (4), both Swedish courses, chemistry course... And plus some random have-to-do courses that are replaced with math that I have to go through alone on my free-time without teachers...
School's fun brah!

lol, but yea. I have a lot of shit to do. Good thing is that I now know that I can always trust on you bringing me and the others quality-stuff to read and to get our thoughts away from everything else for a while :)
