You should read it, because The Silver Standard easily meets the gold standard of writing on FimFiction. It's about a secondary character (or a classroom of them, as it were), so it apparently gets missed by far too many readers.

I tend to get my creative writing flowing when I hear songs. Oddly enough, songs tend to inspire pony-related works. Today's music being:

I had a few things happen. The holidays. My house flooding. A promotion at work. My -girlfriend- getting a new job...in North Dakota. Helping her move. A few things. Very big things.
