Half-Chapter or wait longer · 9:53pm Aug 6th, 2013
So, as folks following this blog know, my wonderful wife gave birth to our first child about three weeks ago. Everyone's doing great and the little girl is growing like a weed crossed with a piranha. No surprise, my free-time has pretty much evaporated. I have the next scene in Apoptosis pretty much ready to send out to the pre-readers but its only one scene and about half the usual length of the chapters in this story. And giving the current rate of production, it might be a few more weeks until I finish the other half. Any opinions or votes regarding publishing smaller chunks to keep updates occurring at a reasonable rate or stretching out the update schedule (into the 1-2 months between update realm) so that the chapters stay the same shape/size.

P.S. Appreciate sleeping more, one day you'll miss it.
I can wait.
It's tricky to answer. On the one hand, some of us can wait. In the other, some of us will lose interest and drift away. The real question is whether you think what you have can stand by itself, and if you are otherwise happy with it.
Also, we need more opinions.
Same. Anticipation is the best sauce.
Congratulations.
I think we can survive the wait.
I'm perfectly willing to wait. It's always nice to have a big, juicy update after a while than to go "yay and update!" and tear through it in just a few minutes, I think.
Does what you have work as a chapter by itself, or will it be an obvious (and not just by word count) half-chapter?
I vote for waiting either way, but that seems like important information for people who are inclined towards immediate gratification.
Whichever you think is best though I could wait the couple of months between updates.
Wait.
If there's anything FimFiction made me good at, it's waiting.

It does stand on its own (it is a complete scene) but it sounds like the understanding folks here are content to wait a little longer. Thanks guys you all rock!
