Hello! I got tired of looking at the last blog post, so I figured I'd put up a new one. A good enough reason, eh? :3
For the curious, RandomEncounter is still working on his fics, fear not. It's just taken time to get some things sorted out. Also, real life *gasp* (the horror!) has taken more precedence over writing. One of our favorite things to do, actually, is to go out to eat someplace and discuss the stories. The current chapter, future outcomes, whatever. A couple beers and a few notebook pages later, we've got some awesome stuff outlined! 
Also, I've been working on a story of my own! 
I'm really excited and can't wait to upload it, but I want to have a couple of chapters already written (if not the entire story) before I start posting it. It's going to be a human in Equestria fic, and the main character is a young adult female from Earth. But this isn't going to be some cliched Mary Sue story, oh no. There will be no walk in the park for our main heroine. She will be challenged and face trials. She's not gonna just waltz into Equestria like, "Hi guys! Let's be best friends forever!" 
Nope. Her wits will be tested, as well as the wits of the Mane Six. I want to do something different... I want to focus on her characterization and see how she is impacted by Equestria, and vice versa. I want to play with world physics and explain the seemingly unexplainable. It's been a lot of fun to write so far, and I have so many ideas I want to explore.
