A thousand comments. That's something like 140,000 words of discussion on 40,000 words of story. In other words, the comments are twice as long as The Catcher In The Rye. And that's ignoring the discussions on other sites, which probably add another 10% or so.

Yes, I've read all of these. Most of them twice, at least.
