I FORGOT MY USB DRIVE!!!!
For those of you who don't know, I have my main copy of Syncopation in a USB that I carry with me everywhere I go. Said USB had about 2,500 words of Chapter 19 on it. Said USB is currently SITTING IN ONE OF THE COMPUTERS IN MY SCHOOL'S COMPUTER LAB!
Hence the Gah!
... But yes.
I'll probably be typing furiously today in an effort to get in an update tomorrow. It's just as well, really; there were a few things in that chapter that I felt could have been done better and now I have a chance to put in those changes. The effect of the chapter won't change much. Hell, I may even upload the original Chapter 19 as a kind of Lost Chapter thing once I get my USB back...

Anyway, new chapter should be up tomorrow. And then my next update will be from Boston/Cambridge! I'm catching the Red Eye from LAX on Monday and I'll be there until Saturday, during which time I'll have taken part in a conference at MIT and have visited Harvard! Which'll be fun!

Yeah, I really should. I always upload a chapter there once I'm done with it, but I really should be typing it there in the first place.

I could just imagine someone picking it up, sticking it into a computer and slowly running away as fast as possible
