One opportunity I want to take advantage of, and one I missed.

Heya there, I wanted to use this one opportunity: Many people celebrate even numbers in followers, or even numbers in story views... stuff like that. I must admit, I like prime numbers more, but all these numbers have a flaw: There are more than one of these occasions, so I don't think they're all that special. However, guess what I just spotted: I can express the number of likes my three published stories have gotten chronologically as a mathematical sequence: an = 2an-1 -1 with a0 = 12, i.e. (12, 23, 45). I don't think that'll come again, hah!

I missed the chance to blog about the fact that my most recent story got reviewed by the Seattle's Angels, so I wanted to make up for that, too. Here's said review. The reviewers had many nice things to say, and some comprehensible critique. I'm grateful for both.

I'm currently working on a contest prompt for the SFNW again, but I'm not sure I'll be able to make the deadline. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to wrap my head around it since I condemned myself to write it in first person present tense. Anyway, I'll be a bit more active writing-wise come the mid of August, starting probably with focusing on improving The End of a Quest, using all the helpful feedback I've gotten thanks to the exposure the story has had.

That's all I got for now, but I hope I'll be able to blog about exciting things again soon.
