Not sure if it means anything · 9:45pm Jul 24th, 2013
...but my first story has been up for only 3 hours, and already it has a rather low like:dislike ratio. Now I know when I posted it I could expect some dislikes from people who weren't fond of the concept (giantess rampaging through Canterlot), so odds are good that many of these dislikes could be written off as people who took one look at it and thumbs-downed it in disgust without reading it.
But without any comments from these people, there's no way to know that for sure. And even if there is a good bit of that going on, there's no way to know to what extent people are disliking it for the concept and not for the story.
So, I ask this: If you dislike the story, please leave a comment as to why. I promise I won't be offended; if anything, it might actually ease my mind as I can know what needs fixing should I make another pass through the story (just because it's published doesn't mean I won't update it, after all! I've already got plans for an alternate ending besides).
EDIT: Effective Midnight EST, Sept. 6, 2013, if I see anypony else complain about fetish-based downvotes and the story they're talking about has a like:dislike ratio of 1:1 or better, I will downvote your story out of spite. You have NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN! I'm entirely serious. Because, to me, this is just like a homeless orphan seeing an emo kid complain about his upper-middle class parents grounding him.
...Well, maybe not, but it's just so frustrating.
