This is an intro to chapter two for I Can't Be a Hero that I have scrapped. It hasn't been edited at all I just wrote it to see if there was any chance I would take the story in this direction. This has nothing to do with the current direction of the story, as in the second internal character does not exist. But because i haven't updated it I thought i might as well let some of you read it. The grammar, spelling and any other basic righting rules have not been checked so don't bother telling me there there i'm not going back to this.
It's short but here it is....
When I woke up it was probably three in the morning. I woke up at three in the morning because I had a nightmare. Not a fun nightmare, where I was running from pirates or zombies and painfully low on ammo. No, it was a scary nightmare where I was allowed once again to relive my greatest failure.
That said, I woke up quickly, my heart was beating fast and my shirt was soaked with sweat. Almost immediately I began to do what I always do when I have this particular nightmare. I put my shoes on and got ready for a jog. However as I was tying my shoelaces I realized I had been sleeping in a shithole, dirt ground, wet air, no blankets, ect. Which, innate of itself was no revelation, I always slept in a shithole, because I lived in one. But, this was not my shithole, I was sleeping in a cave. What the hell am I doing here? My mind struggled to detangle the mystery from my memory. I sat there for a few minutes getting nowhere before I realized I was not alone. Across from me I could hear steady breathing in the darkness; I could make out one... two... three... Shit, how many other people were in here.
I began crawling towards the nearest one, so I could see who it was when my eyes adjusted.
"You better stop there." My own personal inner demon had woken up. Stopping me a few feet from my nearest companion.
"Shit, what did you do, I thought we agreed you would only show up in emergencies."
"I saved your life dumbass. It was an emergency."
"Saved me from what? How the hell did we get here?"
"Ok, you have to promise to be chill, because to be blunt, as it stands were pretty much fucked."
"Just tell me what's going on."
"Alright, so remember that kids show some of the guys used to watch."
"What show? Get to the point."
"The one with ponies. Do you remember it?"
"Yes I remember, what about it."
"Were stuck inside that world..."

After about an hour of pointless banter and slow information giving, I managed to get most of the story from my more brutish half.
"... so why did you name us 'Everfree'?"
"Because I like it, and let's be honest, neither of us like our real name anyway."
"Alright, whatever, let's just have you shut up for a while and let me handle things from here. We don't need you murdering the townsfolk as soon as we get out of this forest."
"Can do, just so long as I get my share of action as it comes along."
Which left me to my own devices, at four in the morning, in the middle of the forest, with no clear plan. Other than simply to get to town while keeping my new friends alive.
Again none of this is going in the story and just so you know i am alot further along on the real thing.

I like it. Though I have to agree, it is too short
