So here I am, 60,000 words later. There are a total of 1,153 views. There is only one dislike. I have constantly been assured that Syncopation deserves more attention.
These words have started getting to me.
I'll be trying to get more people to notice me; I may even aim to take a place in the feature box. How will I do this? I don't know. If it were that easy, everyone would do it and it wouldn't mean anything. But I'll be trying.
"But Terra!" I hear you cry. "What brought about this change of policy?"
Well, that's because I decided to find another OctaScratch fic to read today. I've read the big ones; Allegrezza, University Days, most anything by Josh, Accidental Harmony/Redux, From Scratch, blah blah blah. But I wanted to read something else; something that had the type of great writing and some followers but wasn't too well known. (We'll ignore, that most of you think Syncopation is like this.)
So I went up to that Browse tab at the top of the webpage and I clicked on romance. Then I added Octavia and Vinyl as tags and I sorted by rating. And I scrolled down, past University Days/Nights, past Allegrezza, past Accidental Harmony, past From Scratch and... Well, hello. I recognize that cover. And that title. And look at that wonderful avatar.
Such a handsome ponified Terra.
So here I am, months after I first published The Coffee House. I'm at the bottom of the first page of the highest rated OctaScratch fics. I also have the highest like to dislike ration, but who's counting?
...
Well, I am. I most definitely am.
tl;dr: For the love of all that is wubs and classical, I am determined to make Syncopation one of the best known OctaScratch fics.

If I had more than 3 followers, I would promote the hell outta your fic.
Might have a problem there. You see, what you're writing is amusing and lacks pointless drama. Also it has a consistent tone and minimal spelling/grammar errors, which is something not actually shared by many Vinyl/Octavia fics.
I love the shit out of Allegrezza, but it still needs another editing pass.
Godspeed! Though, I can't see why Syncopation isn't in the Feature Box every time it updates... I mean, there's a point when your story hits the FB every time you update it. I guess.
Syncopation is on page 49 of the top rated stories list.
With 10 fics per page, that makes it one of the 500 highest rated fics on the site.
Oh and it just passed From Scratch.
