I got asked yesterday by some 'MURICA-n fellow:
"why don't you celebrate 4th July"
and came up with this:
"Because Britain is really going to celebrate the date that one of its colonies gained independence from it. Yeaaaaah."
That would be like some mother somewhere celebrating the day that her children left home. It's just weird.
I burnt my finger making 'MURICA-n pancakes. Middle finger, left hand - pretty badly, too. I currently have it wrapped up a small sheep. No more Minecraft for me for a while, I guess, so I'll stick to flat British pancakes for now. God, it's really hard to type with fingers you don't normally use, I keep making all sorts of mistakes. Oh well.
I might as well do productivity over the week-end, since I'll be going cold-turkey on mc for at least a day or two. I have been planning on adding an extra bonus chapter to The Strangest Thing, so I'll probably do that. You can expect it sometime over the week-end..

It's also awkward when we celebrate the fourth of July up here. "Yaa, congrats on gaining independence and trying to take over our country, can I leave now?"
