I just realized that there's a 'gore' tag on Through a Glass Mirror but not Progress, despite the second one being a lot gorier.
Also, I seem to have become way more popular than I would have ever expected. I don't know whether to thank you all, or question your taste in writing. Maybe both?
Due to various circumstances (meaning whatever it was that I felt like writing), the direct sequel to Through a Glass Mirror has been post-poned. I will still be posting it (eventually), but don't expect it anytime soon.
It's easier to keep track of your activities/get notified exactly when new stories are added. Otherwise unless the author tacks on a "hey guys there's a sequel out now" chapter of the story I was following I wouldn't know unless I thought to physically check their page. And I'm following hundreds of stories and have almost a 1200 unread chapters so every little bit of automation helps.
I think for a lot of us it has to do with practicality. If a story updates frequently, it's easy to follow it, but if the author doesn't update often or notifies us about impending delays, it makes sense to follow them.
Generally speaking, there are fairly narrow criteria that determine if I follow someone or not. Suffice to say I read everyone I follow, but I don't follow everyone I read: This isn't Facebook.
Ummm, mostly because if you are planning many multiple stories this'll make it easier to follow them. You are the first person I've followed instead of just following stories.

Eh, makes sense. I was talking more about the old readers who always commented every chapter, but only followed me now.

Fair enough. I'm not following anyone yet.

Well, thanks for that.
Oh, and by the way... IT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION, YOU GUYS DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE TO ANSWER IT!
