Equestria Girls Name Game

It's been a while, hasn't it?

So...Equestria Girls.

This isn't going to be a rant or a rave about it. I just want to talk about one glaring dilemma I have:
The names.
Early on, someone somewhere posted a rumor that, since the characters were humans, they would have human names: 'Pinkie Pie' became 'Paulina Pettifer', 'Rainbow Dash' was 'Roxy Dodgers' and so on.
But when the movie came out, it was clear this wasn't the case. Same names in both worlds.
My problem? I kind of LIKE the human name idea. It just makes sense to me - too much, actually.
As you've seen, I went with this idea in 'Rebuilding'. But I want to ask all of you: Which do you prefer? Which one makes more sense to you? Would it be too confusing to refer to our near and dear ponies by human names? Or is giving humans pony names too silly of an idea for you?

I liked the human names for the Mane Six, and it would have been cute to see that. And it wouldn't be too hard to remember.
