The seventh chapter of SoG, "The Big Empty", is taking an awful long time to write, sorry for the two and half readers who have subscribed to the story by accident. Right now, I'm about two-third done with it, at over 5k words. Now that I'm in vacation, it should go a little faster.
On another note, I've drawn a map of my headcanon post-apocalyptic Equestria. It's not pretty, but it'll do.
Another map is coming along soon with the next chapter.
On another note:
I realized PH really messed with the canon, especially after chapter 33. So I will simply put SoG in an "alternate universe" in which Hoofington is on the west coast of Equestria and Blackjack died at the end of chapter 33 (not that I dislike the story afterward, but the conflicts with the canon are too much to handle).
I am also changing a tiny detail about the original Fallout:Equestria: the timeline. While Little Pip's adventures lasted about two months, in my canon they will have lasted a few years. In fact, I simply scaled up Equestria to a reasonable size (in the show, the Mane 6 are often shown using trains, balloons, sky carriages, etc., yet they are ponies and it has been proved they can trot around without any trouble), and adapted the timeline in consequence.
I know I'm going to be drowned under tomatoes for that, but whatever.

Don't mistake me, I love chapter 33 too. It's just that afterward Blackjack really starts her 'gotta save the world' arc, and I find convenient to simply end her there. Since PH is not finished yet, it will in all likelihood contradict my ideas for future developments (the Crystal Empire, for example...). Hence, I freeze the 'PH' canon around chapter 33.
Honestly, it won't even affect the story. I never planned to have Hoofington or any places from PH featured in my story in the first place. Alternatively, you can simply imagine that, like Littlepip, Blackjack took her time to do whatever business she had to do.
Otherwise, there is no way SoG can take place in the short timespan FoE and PH established.
