900+ Followers, Updates, and Apologies · 9:32pm Jun 4th, 2013
It's come to my attention that I've hit 900 followers on this site. And am I happy about that?
Well...yes and no.
Yes because, well, come on. 900? Seriously. How could I not be fucking ecstatic about that?
No because I don't really have anything to give back. I haven't written anything as of late. And THAT makes me feel a bit awful. How long has it been since I've updated either Novelty or Something About Her? Like, five months? I've not had a break that bad in my entire career here. There's not even anything stopping me from writing either. No obligations or duties, nothing like that. I've just had no drive to do so. I also kind of wanted to have something special for this occurrence, but I never got around to getting something set up. Honestly, I just sort of faded away from the site for some time.
Now don't go thinking that this is the "beginning of my retirement" or anything like that. I've got ideas for fics out the wazoo, so I don't plan on quitting any time soon. I've just had a bad time getting my ass to sit down and start writing. Admittedly, I just sort of burned myself out on fan fiction for awhile. I've only read like, one story in the last few months.
Maybe I've been distracted, maybe I've been struggling internal issues (ones I'd rather not go into). Either way, none of my works have seen any progress, and I wanted to apologize. I've had so many people asking for continuations on all of them.
I have been getting back into the scene a bit more as of late, though. With classes being over (for about a month now...), I've got more than enough time on my hands now. I'm gonna put some more effort to getting out parts for all of my works. This includes my current collab fic with Whirring Gears, Step Up, Don't Suck.
Speaking of that, we also have something else in the works, too. I won't say what it is quite yet, but I will say it tailors to a little something that's very relevant to my interests. 
So, with all that said, look forward to my stories. I'll be seeing if I can't get something out for them all in due time.
Oh, also, would you all be mad if I changed my avatar to this?

You provide us with free entertainment for us to enjoy so you don't have to apologize for taking a while to get something new out. You don't have to give us back anything because you've already given plenty, not to say you should stop or anything, I want another chapter of Novelty as much as anyone but you don't need to rush these things if your distracted or stressed.

Basically, a robot that fights with hidden weaponry and dance moves (including the moonwalk). Seriously, look at that swag.
