(PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THING AND COMMENT IN REPLY! I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!) I have been thinking for a few weeks now on what to do once I finish Half Past Octavia, which may come soon. After some thinking I came up with something I think is fairly original. Yesterday I was raking my brain for ideas when I got on Tumblr to look at ask pony Tumblr's like I do when I'm bored and that's when it hit me. If any of you are familiar with ask me Tumblr's then you know how they work, but for those of you who are not I will explain (even though it's very self explanatory). What happens it that users of Tumblr ask the owner of the blog a question or give them a command or what not and then the owner chooses the command/question to input into a visual portrayal. Some of these pony Tumblr's include "Ask Jappleack", "Ask Ruby Pinch", "Ask Princess Molestia", and many others. Though one of my favorites is the "Moonstuck" Tumblr. Obviously by the name you can well imagine that it has to do with out one and only Mare in the Moon, Princess Luna, or as the Tumblr has dubbed her: Woona! Now as I thought of this I thought to myself why not make a C.Y.O.A. fic? For those who don't know, C.Y.O.A. stands for: Choose Your Own Adenture. This would be a fic based off the Tumblr "Moonstuck" with basically the same theme but a different story line as I don't want to copy the owners brilliance. How it would work is that YOU the reader who I love so much will either PM or comment on the fic a command or question relating to what is going on or what will happen next and I will go into greater detail with description. This is great because It's a fiction basically told by YOU the reader! All in favor and who would actually like this say "Aye"?
TLDR; I'm making a fic that you can choose what happens by commenting and shit based off a Tumblr page that I like.
That... could work, providing people are made known first and foremost they are reading what is basically like a much more verbal MSPaintAdventures without visuals. In fact, that sounds like something I'd see myself do once my literature skills are up to par.
46632 I think it has great potential but the thing is that it NEEDS people to keep it alive. No people means no story so that's why I'm informing before making so I can have some form of a viewer base.
