Well, that's May, then. · 6:15pm Jun 1st, 2013
I'm back at last and still reeling from graduating with my B.A. as well as packing up all my possessions and driving over 2,000 miles to California to move in with my boyfriend. May of 2013 is a month I'm never going to forget; I generally thrive on routine, but the explosion of chaos and adventure the past month brought was something I hadn't fully realized how much I needed until I had it. North Dakota was not a good place for me. California I have a good feeling about.
On the writing front, I've made absolutely zero progress on pony fanfiction, and I'm going to keep commissions closed for the time being. I've got a batch of stories I need to send off to publishers, and I've got ideas for a few novellas and short stories of original fiction bubbling in my head. So, fanfic will probably be on the back burner for the time being. I'll probably work on my forthcoming Eagle Eye story when I get writer's block on other things, so that will happen... eventually. I dunno. Gotta prioritize, sad to say.
But hey, I'm back! I'm happy, I'm recharged, and I'm not living in a godsforsakenconservativehellhole where I would have beenlynchedifIadmittedIhadatasteformen. So, hi again, Fimfic! It's been a little while, and I'm still out of it. What's going on with you, followers?
Welcome back, welcome to California, and congratulations on not having to hide who you are!
10/10 would enjoy again
Welcome back and congratulations on the graduation and the move! All very, very cool stuff.
And more importantly, welcome to the West Coast! Please celebrate the customary West Coast Way: by putting cilantro on the next thing you eat.

I was already worshiping cilantro as the god of all spices in ND, so can do!
Welcome back and huge congrats on the graduation, move, original fiction, and all that snazzy stuff.
However, what matters the most is that you're on the west coast now, home of trees, punk rock, and flamboyant men. You should probably fit right in.
So now the real question: which one of you owns the kitchen? Trust me when I say this is a very important part of a relationship.
Nice to have you back. Grats on that B.A. and on moving from a conservative hellhole to ... I have no idea what kind of hellhole California is.
I hear they have good weather.
I'll echo your welcome back to California, and congrats on your success!
I also lived in the midwest for a while and have decided never to leave here again. California is a great place to be, especially the Bay Area.
1118439 Cilantro is a beautiful thing as long as you're not one of the 7% of people for whom it tastes like soap - or worse yet, bugs - due to genetic disposition. My sister can't eat it because she got the "tastes like soap" gene. ;)
Welcome back!

Although I think I read as pretty straight most of the time, so I dunno about the flamboyant part. Habit from peeking out from the closet for so long.

I'm not sure what you mean.
Good to hear that things are going well, Vimbert! Though I love my own ultra convservative home where my taste for the masculine would be frowned upon, I can empathize. To new beginnings, da? The world's movin' on, and that's alright.

Those three characteristics are trademark of every major city on the west coast. Depending on where you are, "trees" has different meanings.
Enjoy your stay. Have a pony.
1118480 Oh great. I have to explain my rambling now.
I mean one of you will take ownership of the physical space. For example, even though I do most of the cooking my wife owns our kitchen and has it arranged around her exotic tea habit. Even the spice cupboard is half-filled with the various things she needs for making her masala chai and whatever her latest flavour of the month is.
... I'm not making any sense am I?
*hugs a Vimmy* Can I get you anything? Water? Birkenstocks? Good seafood?
Yay West Coast.
Fuck cilantro.
No really.
Put it on the next thing you eat.

Welcome back dude!
Hey, mate, glad to see you finally poking your head around the FimFics. Now get on Skype more, darn you. I've been drawing pones for everyone and you haven't gotten squat yet! I keep having to draw Nane's OCs and they're so baaaaaaaaad.
But seriously, I'm glad to hear that you've finally settled in somewhere where you're more at ease with yourself. That can only be a good thing, even if you're now losing the beloved "tortured social outcast" status as a writer.
Oheck, Vimbert's back on the ponynets! :D Hurrah! Good to see you again, and know you're safe and sound!
California Uber Alles, baby!
Hey Vim! Good to hear from ya, buddy!
It's been much less exciting with you around, that's for sure. glad to have you back and in a better space too.

I mean WHAT SKYPE IS THE BEST THING EVER (I'm just not a big fan of how the UI is set up, so you're good).
