Because I'm going to resubmit it as a new story. I want the new version to garner popularity on it's own merits, and I have the first chapter written out. It's around 2000 words long and I've already outlined the next few chapters. Once past the introductory stages the story will take a very slice of life style, so little stories each chapter with story arcs occasionally. There will be an overarching plot that will be built slowly through different parts and smaller story arcs. Hopefully you guys will enjoy the story, and I hope to get updates out at the most every week, but please be patient if i don't. I am a very procrastinating person.
But yeah everyone. I'm going to have some people read over what I have so far, then I'm gonna submit the story either tomorrow or tuesday, though most likely tomorrow.

It is? I just want to re-do the story so I'm getting rid of the old one. I don't see why that's against the rules. It's more detrimental to me than anything since I lose a bunch of readers. I just want to earn new ones on my rewrites own merits.

Well, double check the rules. It does say something about deleting and reposting fics (not just unpublishing and republishing though, I think that's allowed).
