I find myself bored: Homestuck Crossovers · 6:13am May 25th, 2013
it's one of those nights, none of the stories I'm following are updating, and I just can't get into any video games so I muse. what better time to put down some thoughts that have been haunting my mind for a while!
So I find it a bit unusual that there aren't more Homestuck crossovers stories here. since Homestuck lends its self to crossing over with everything else already. especially considering you have neigh immortal god like figures in alicorns one of who has a near identical cutie mark to a cannon aspect and you have an very simple crossover story just begging to be made (which I have an idea for one but I'm no author). but all this aside what would be the titles of the FIM cast be, here are my thoughts.
Celestia: Mage of Light - so for very obvious reasons her aspect is light so why a mage? well mages are seen as the active class to seers and also the passive to the witch class. mages deal with knowledge like seers but they're active in that this knowledge benefits themselves. they also manipulate things like a witch class but instead of being the ones doing the manipulation they would set things up like dominoes. Celestia doesn't out right tell anybody anything she lets them figure things out on their own. every time we see her she's doing just that with Twilight. as a mage of light her own knowledge of events and destinies primarily benefits herself so she can be at the right place and do the right things and from her actions let what she wants to happen play out.
Luna - she in my mind is the ultimate wild card her personality isn't fleshed out enough so you could really give her any class, although I would give her an active class given how on the nightmare night episode she just barges in and does what she wants no questions. but that didn't work out to well for her, and when she was humble and did what others told her she then had a good time so she could still have a passive class. So something like a page, or maid might be a good fit since they're still active but have passive elements to their role. also her cutie mark is a crescent moon like on the vestments for dream selves, so in my mind she probably died before entering the game making her dream self her only self. because of those tragic event she could be assigned the doom aspect, but still fitting in with her whole night theme she could also go with void (particularly considering NMM) or my personal choice of the Space aspect since I always think of her as the more creative type.
Candace: Witch of Heart - again like Celestia her aspect is obvious she deals with love (or soul mates) which is a trait of the heart aspect. the only reason I could give her a class though is how her love spell seems to work, in that it directly manipulates the person which is exactly what a witch would do.
so these are the my thoughts on titles for the alicorns' Homestuck titles. I have title thought up for all the main cast too, it's just that it's late and I want to go to bed right now, who knows if I'll ever write more.
