Why Doctor Who(oves)? · 7:16pm May 17th, 2013
I wonder why everyone favorites my story, A Mockery of Life, but no one gives it a thumbs up. Wouldn't a favorite happen after a thumbs up?
Oh, well.
Anyways... onto the real blog.
So you may be asking me, "Hey, Farseer! What gave you the idea to write Doctor Whooves?" Well, I actually knew nothing about the madman and his box (and occasionally without it) until about a week or two ago, where my Whovian friend (you may know him online as Thoper7 or Thoper360) comes along and forces me to watch an episode or two (by holding my quart of superpremium ice cream over my head- he's quite tall.). I went ahead and said, "What the heck, and watched it.
Episode #1 for me was that Sweetville episode. (Horse! You have failed to reach your destination! Do you have any last words?) It gave me brain pain, and I had to ask him question after question after question. He sucked it up and answered my questions to the best of my ability. What I was surprised about, actually, was that Doctor Who was either completely animated- or has no animation whatsoever. Wow, I thought. They're good.
The next episode I saw was that bubble universe one. (Bunk beds are cool!) I looked at that one better- asking significantly fewer questions. And from that, it went on and on.
I remember one episode in particular- just a few days ago, actually- when I saw Rebel Flesh. I was kinda freaked out at the end by the (CENSORED:SPOILERS) and I decided that I loved it. Heh. Reminded me about how I joined into the brony fandom. I stuck around until I decided I liked it.
Well, congrats. You now know a factoid about my life. Not that it'll do you any good.
