So, it's come to my attention, that people have been using scripts in order to vote up their potential choice.
I left it up so you can see the results if you click the link. Spike had 115, Gilda had 87, and the others had rather high votes as well.
There's no way that many people are voting for one specific character. So, I'll be deciding who goes next in the cuddles.
The "Author's Best Choice" winner is: Iron Will. He'll be the next cuddle buddy.

You know what you should do, just go with someone that was not even on the list.
Although it may appear possible that the votes may have been cheated, I highly doubt that they are. I mean, you have 310 followers, and at least 1000 people have favorited your story, if the 700 likes aren't proof enough. I think you may be overreacting, and also underestimating how popular your story actually is... But meh, whatever makes you sleep at night, I guess.
Damn, I was really hoping for Gilda. Maybe next time....

Well, I'm used to easypolls being rigged. It has been in the past, and when I got an email from one of the voters claiming that he himself was capable of voting 3-5 times himself I decided that they'll just be rigged again. Sorry, but people like to ruin things like this in order to get their character voted up.
It happened when I did CYOA's (Choose your own adventure) and I'm not surprised if it happens again. Especially when the votes have a sudden surge in numbers at a very quick pace. I'd love to have a voting system that couldn't be tampered with, I really do, but that won't happen sadly

Ever consider just giving a few options in your blog post and then have people comment who they want? I understand that it would take longer to tally, and can be manipulated, but it would be a lot harder to do so.
Hell, I'd help tally even. Personally I can't wait for the Iron Will chapter. I'm sure it will be a long series of hearty 'lol' producing events.

Sorry, if I'da known I would not have suggested him in the first place! I only ever said Iron Will as a joke, originally. In all honesty, Rainbow would be the one who would interest me most. I can totally see her as being a closet cuddlebug and desperately trying to act like she finds the idea stupid while secretly craving it.

Something that works for me in my polls is to create a new blog entry with several comments outlining possible votes. Just ask your fans to upvote or downvote those comments accordingly, as they cannot be scripted.

If this is going by an alternating pattern, the one who cuddled Celestia will cuddle Iron Will, and may find the experience quite different. I'm expecting gay concerns, like "I ain't gonna cuddle with you, I don't swing that way" kind of concerns.
