About "Journeys" Blog. · 6:28pm May 4th, 2013
Ok I accidentally erased my last blog since I didn't know my profile page triple posts my top blog. Weird I know. That being said. On to talking about Journeys.
I was asked about the story name so I'll talk about what made me think about the story. And I'll be updating it with Comment Posts when new special A/N's come up. What started the Jouneys' storyline was notMurphy's story A Minor Variation and his portrayal of Pinkie Pie. Her multiple personalities, each reflecting a different Fannon version of Pinkie Pie. A Different Universe of her converging into one mind made me think about fim universes doing just that. Converging into a point in time where they overlap. Discord's mind fk of Dashie further got me thinking about that.
Then it was a little bit later with Hard Reset/A Stitch in Time got me thinking even more deeply into the concept of numerous time lines interacting as well as a sentient force in the fim multiverse that would shape and alter the time lines for an unknown endgame. With each coming out of it as only a small movement of a chess piece rather than as an end game.
So with that I was going to make the story with normal twilight, but with the ending that came of Season 3 I changed my story. And in doing so created the opening of Jouney's. Using the various fics I've read online here to dissect, observe, and compartmentalize the psyche's of the Mane 6, as well as Princess Celestia and Luna. The story would be a journey building upon their pasts and reactions as I see them. Then place them in to situations that dwell to the deepest, darkest depths of their soul. Up to the core of their being.
From their I created:
"The Watcher", a near omnipresent being tasked with guiding and empowering entities in the multiverse, but doing so in a passive way. Ensuring order and harmony in the time line. He would be the hidden force behind the Convergence Series, moving and shaping the multiverse using willing champions of Harmony. He created the Elements of Harmony in this series of AU, and was inspired in part by The Grigori, the divine beings who watched over humanity and fell in love with humans, in turn teaching them about magic, math, culture, and science. As well as "The Immortals" from elgoonishshive.com
"Nemesis" The opposite to the Watcher is an entity that takes a direct line with the time line. Shaping events to it's own design rather than ensuring order and harmony works to impose it's own desires as well as opinion of harmony and order. It's loosely inspired by HP.Lovecraft's chthuluian horrors, the Shadow's from SMT Persona Series [most noticeably the End Boss of the games], and Il'Samar (Night Voice) from the Noble Dead saga. It's was so far mentioned in passing in Chapter 3 as the evil that evades the Watcher.
Almareda: I love Almareda. She's useful for either side. For the Watcher she furthers the plot as well as is a strawman for when things pop up later on in the series. She's basically the Watcher's spackle [no spoilers]. For Nemesis she's one of the two main reasons behind all that's bad in the multiverse. She's basically like the sonic screwdriver, but instead of peace, love, and power of goodness. She's the chess board in which the rest of the multiverse is played upon. So bucking useful. I love it.
Mystery Omnicorn: I alluded to Omnicorns in Chapter 1. This is both that and the 7th Element. I can't go into more without giving away major spoilers.

Special A/N: Here are additional A/Ns as they pop up. I'll be updating this blog in the comment section as it pops up.
As it stands I'm doing Fluttershy's Fear section ... and I couldn't feel worse. I mean if I cried for Celestia than I'm positively cringing with what Fluttershy's going through. I'll admit that she's a hard one to do for a couple of reasons.
1) Noone likes Fluttershy crying. So putting her in a situation where she's going under the same stress as Celestia and Dashie is a killer.
2) It took some time to properly (or at least I hope properly) observe and dissect her psyche.
3) Picking not just her fears, but what fears would break her. Would make her grey and dull. Would make it the hardest to preserver is difficult.
4) When I do her Dark Side it's going to be easy but draining to do that to her. But for the story I think it will make it so much greater.
After her I'm doing Apple Jack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, and I'm finishing with Luna. AJ and Rarity are going to be the hardest because of how much work is going to go into her. But Luna is going to be emotionally harder than Fluttershy. But honestly I can't wait to write her. Although I hope I don't get down votes from what happens to Flutters. Especially since Flutters is one of my favorite all around ponies.
What was your previous blog post? ...It didn't happen to mention a "Rainboomless Timeline," did it?
1510743
It did.
1512001 Will this "Rainboomless Timeline" be playing any part in the Convergence Series?
1512004
Eventually it will. I literally have 3 to 4 chapters left. And I know how it needs to end, but I'm hitting a mental road block getting there (I'm still writing it, but other stories, life, and I keep deleating dialog for not being good enough). But the Rainboomless timeline is the next timeline, possibly also a Lunaverse fic (not associated with Rainbow Double Dash's work, but a Lunaverse none the less) Not sure if I want to do that or not. Since my Lunaverse is going to have Pinkie Pie as Luna's personal protege'.

A series of accidents / natural events strips the mane 6 of their families, and Twi goes into hiding being the cause of an accidental spell explosion that ends a few ponies lives and many buildings during a magic burst. And has a Twi freakout moment making her blow what her punishment would be out of porportion. That's all I can really say.
