Second annual random watcher promotion · 9:02pm Apr 25th, 2013
Hey guys! Been a bit. Er, kinda, anyway. Maybe not really that long, but kinda long since I was saying I was gonna try and do a bi-weekly random very meticulously planned author promotion. I've been behind on that due to working exceptionally hard on Diamond in the Rough with the gang--hopefully for the fellas following that, you're going to be happy with what we have in store. We've got our fingers crossed to be done with it. Soon™.
But that's not why you're reading. You could care less about that shit, or about TLS. (4srs, almost done. It's just a ton longer than I'd expect it to be. I'm already at 12k and counting)
No, sir. You're here for some good ol' fashioned promotion of a fic you've (possibly) never heard of! Well, today we're looking at...
Wow. My random dice roller has picked three people in a row that haven't had fics. Get dunked, me.
Alright, one more roll--looking like five. Guess that's... Peregrine Caged!
...
Based Cage it is! Odds are you know this guy--he might of even referenced you to me, making this promotion kinda pointless. Either way, we're still doin' this!
You may know him for being the founder of Fimfiction's hot, fresh group, The Collab cage, the founder of the constantly featured Album collab, or as co-writer of Fool's Gold and the previously mentioned Diamond in the rough. However, in addation to those things, he's also a very talented solo fic writer, making fics such as Ink, and a personal favorite of mine, Crayons and Catastrophes.
Seriously, if you want an author far more interesting than me, why not that guy? I mean, he's kinda a big deal.
This is Merc, with your randomly selected watcher promotion, signing off.
*Begins the slow clap that leads to the thunderous applause*
So if you're Gabe Newell, who does that make me?
I do not need to reference the Caged one, as I know him! Huzzah for connections!
But seriously, he's a great guy. Read his stuff.
I found you and PC seperatly, actually. Though PC came first, I must say. But yeah, PC's stuff is totally worth reading a couple times. To anyone wondering where to start...Ink is my favorite!
