So Syncopation hit 100 favorites today (bunnybooze79 is favorite #100)! My immediate reaction went something like this

And then I looked like this

You see, I realized that Syncopation is now sitting on the favorite list of 100 different people and has been viewed a little over 360 times. That means that a story, one of my stories, one of those things that normally sit on my laptop for me to re-read and be embarrassed about, is on this site. And people read it. And people like it. And they give encouraging comments, point out spelling mistakes, and assure me that they're enjoying the story.

I got over my Scared Rainbow Dash phase pretty quickly, partly because I've never been the kind of person to crack under pressure but mainly because I can look in the comments and indulge my ego for a bit. I'll hit a snag in a chapter, feel like somethings off in my writing style, make a reference, worry that nobody at all will like what I write. (I said that I don't crack under pressure, not that I'm arrogant).

And then I'll publish a chapter and get "Great" "Amazing" "Fantastic" "Excellent" and people, you wonderful people, tell me to write more chapters.

It's amazing.
