A while back, I had just about the best idea for a book that a kid who is seventeen has probably ever had. I'm probably giving myself too much credit, but I had an original idea for a story, filled with action, a unique setting, interesting characters, political commentary, all sorts of good stuff.
And I wrote about three pages before I just gave up. I had the big picture, but when it came to two people talking to each other I became a veritable George Lucas. it sucked.
So why do I want to write now? more importantly, why do I want to write here about ponies? I want to write here because this gives me a chance to get better at writing. Practice makes perfect, and my hope is that as I write here I can better develop characters, and the little details of the stories. Get some constructive criticism, and hopefully entertain at least a few people on the way.
So what can you expect me to write about? Well, don't expect any amazing concepts, or very clever setups. I just am not quite creative enough for that. I'm not going to be writing any crossovers ever, because I don't see that as usually requiring too much thought (exempting Fallout: Equestria, holy crap). I will never ship for as long as I write, and I probably cannot write a slice of life or a comedy. Also, despite my love of the more colorful side of the English language you will never hear a pony swear in my stories. your precious eyes will not be overly offended.
What you can expect is a pretty general concept that gets expanded into being something unique and creative. because I'm a mean old bastard you can expect violence. And you can expect somewhat happy endings at the end of the day.
Updates will be promptly on the first Saturday of the month.

*Salutes* I felt like you took the new story shift pretty hard. I promise though, it isn't turning into an adventure fic. The whole deal with looking at past memories was to avoid any direct confrontation that might make that happen
