A question and more oc's that have shown up in the story. · 9:14am Mar 18th, 2012
Here's The Question. Do you want to create a Super Psycho boss enemy for a future chapter? If so just follow these rules.
1: The enemy must have a visual clue to tell when it's low on health as explained by the Black Trees in the recent Dan fight.
2: While being extremely powerful every boss needs a weakness. And for Celestia's sake make sure any of the hero characters can actually hurt the damn thing. While keeping it's strength tied into the visual clue and believable to the Character. Like a Psycho with fire magic would probably be in an area with an unlit fireplace that would ignite and grow really intense but dim down as they lost health finally going out when they lost it's weakness would probably be something that could put out a fire like water, dirt, something like that even a bubble made of magic to cut off the oxygen to the flame would work. Though the Psycho would eventually break the bubble and do damage to it's maker. But, you get the idea.
3:An image made on meme generator in the following format because I want the boss fights to have a shout out to the 64 Zelda games. Also I will need a song that fits your boss Character. The example will be The current boss. Magic Zombie Psycho: Dan
Example Pic for Boss Psychos.
He will have this music for the fight. & His weakness is magic. He's extremely resistant to physical pain as he's already dead... But, this weakness can be used by anyone with any magical talent hell even a physical attack infused with magic will do more damaged because of the fact that the magic would negatively react with his reanimation charm. Thereby disrupting it and dealing more damage. Make sense?
Okay and now for the list.
Allies get!
Blueblaze - Pony(Hydromage Class Hero) Powers: Generation and Manipulation of water in any form. Weakness: Heat and Flame magic, Alcohol abuse. Thanks to Bladeswiper101 for giving his character some pretty decent weaknesses. While he didn't say that Alcohol was a weakness how well could you wield a weapon if you were constantly wanting to hit the bottle?
Blaze Spark - Pony(Grand Magus Class Hero) Powers: High Level Magic (Needs to pick either offense or Defense for combat purposes.) Weakness: (Currently unknown as his owner never told me.)
I even have a stat sheet for Honor check it!
Honor Guard - Human(Paladin Class hero) Powers: Light magic and extremely good combat skills. Weakness: Dark Magic and extremely trusting. URL:
See if D&D has taught me anything it's that anything that may put you in harms way is to be considered a weakness. Being too trusting can in fact get you in trouble if they are taking advantage of your trust.
So with that I leave you with these words of wisdom. "No one likes a mary sue. Tone your god mod down." Thank you for your time.
Huh. I don't have a weakness? If I would think of one, I would say he is pretty bad at physical combat. And magic would be a mix of both. Hope that clears things up! Oh, and yes to the boss fight. I would say a giant spider, where you can only hurt it on it's back, which you have to get to by making his legs buckle down.
Song for the boss: This.
