... As to why I've been rather quiet and why you should care (spoiler: you shouldn't). In short, last year of degree, last term was more hellish on writing time than I thought it would be, and this last term is exams, exams, exams. Once all that's out of the way (16th May), I can dedicate myself to writing more and finishing Binky Pie, which I believe just turned two years old. Which makes me feel old. And slow.
We all understand how real life and writing time aren't always the best of friends, but we all wish you the best of luck with your exams!
Not a problem. We'll wait. Though don't feel too old SiS is getting to that point as well and End of ponies is older by far and still not complete.
Do not be concerned. More Binky Pie is worth waiting for.
I know the feeling wholeheartedly. Although in my case, it's a forklift upgrade of Oracle 10g -> 11g along with becoming the de-facto maintainer for liferay, tomcat app farms, and image processing servers.
This is about a year and a half old already. I need to get cracking.
Soooo tempted to do a short story based on this where War, Pesilence, and Famine are sitting on their horses, waiting on Death (who is writing his fic).
