there are a lot of shipping match ups out there.
but the one i always loved was discord and twilight.
but this match up has been very under represented, in my opinion, or im just not looking hard enough. in fact the only one that i thought was any good was Learning ABCs - Adorable, Bothersome, Chaotic
and Fragile is getting good.
So i decided that instead of being fustrated with all the flops ill make my own, i know im not the best writer out there, i dont think i should even call myself that, but i cant make things any worse
so here is my synopsis for my latest project, hopeful ill stop adding more to my plate.
Twilight at the Disco
After her coronation, Twilight is finding herself with more political power than her former mentor. Not wanting to upset the balance of power Twilight brings her concerns to the other princesses. Come to find out that is what they wanted. The princesses’ rule was becoming stale, unprogressive even. This was because the current rulers are immortal and already thousands of years old, while their kingdom was ever changing, they simply could not keep up with their own people. Change was needed, and this was the only thing Celestia could not prepare the young princess for, but a certain sprite can. Now Twilight has to deal with a very chaotic adviser, but she is determined to make it work through all the pranks and frustrations; and work it will, more than anyone foresaw.
im going to make it a romantice comedy.

Okay, well... I think i found my next literary crack. I find discord would be reasonable advisor because chaos deals with change very well, maybe let him have moments of insight that are surprisingly human/pony that just come out of left field? If the story is about twilight essentially taking a chunk of the power as the princesses planned maybe write out a bit of celestia/luna getting hobbies or something with it? Overall less power means more time and they could use the free time to rediscover things. Just some thoughts on the idea. I really enjoy your writing style from what of yours i've read so i look forward to seeing what comes of this when it comes out.

953009 I was thinking the same thing with discord, just have him surprise the heck out of twilight that she sorta start to very slowly trust him.
but i didnt think about the princess and what they be doing, my brain is already buzzing with idea, i might make them do some of the most random of things like tight rope dancing.
"Celestia?" Twilight called out as she made her way into her old mentors room. "I was hoping to get your input on...what are you doing?"
"something I read once. its call tight rope dancing."
"ooookay, but why are you tight rope dancing...in your room no less?"
"never done it before." she answered casually.
"and i never peed standing up doesn't mean I want to."
"I have." Celestia sang out.

personally i'm enamoured by your writing style, it has a lot of potential from the to teach a god story, and what i read of generations made me very impressed with your world building, you have a lot of potential for a grand story, just need a bit of polish in some places as every story needs. When you release it i'm definitely gonna crack read it and try to give constructive feedback, i wanna see this kind of story come to fruition.
