We are a tight knit group of bronies. I'm pretty sure at least 90% of us support one another when we are going through tough times.
I am the Follower, and I have seen it; even more than once. Yes, I am a witness.
It is incredible to think that a few words of kindness can really motivate someone. It really can, and I'm glad to be able to be part of such an amazing, encouraging, loving and tolerating fandom. Hence:

I know that most of you have probably seen this video, or may get around to it. But for those that don't know, I want to spread awareness about this. All of us have been called names at least once in your life, but I want to raise awareness to this video to stop bullying. It is a crime, and I want to help make the world a better place.
This video may not make an impact on you. On any of you. But I know this has made an impact on me, and I wanted to share this with y'all.

edit: it made a pretty cool song i guess. the story wasn't bad either, but he did over exaggerate on a lot of things. i did agree with some parts especially the adopted part.
This video is really good. The man behind it has a stunning mastery of the English language. Plus, it hits close to home. As a little kid, I was bullied. I built myself from being a short, fat, unathletic nerdy kid up to an athletic, muscled nerdy kid. I am at the same fitness level as a Division 1 college athlete because I hated the bullies...and I remembered every word they sad, marked each and every last one of them, and I remembered...
I learned how to fight, became an extraordinary wrestler and street brawler and soon to be mixed martial artist....because nothing felt better than paying those who bullied me back with bruises. In high school, I was that kid that never put up with anybody being bullied. I got into more than my fair share of fights because I was the champion for the weak and defenseless. Yeah, sure I got my ass handed to me a few times, but more often than not, I was able to save a lot of kids a lot of hurt, and I'm proud of that. Does fighting make me a bad person? Maybe, I don't know. All I know is that the day that I see someone being bullied, and I let it happen...that's the day I'm no longer the person I want to be.
Anyways....thank you Follower for the always thought provoking blog posts, I really appreciate seeing what you post.
That hit me in my shattered mind.
It reminded me of what lies in my own broken heart.
I wasn't bullied at all. I have a good family, kind parents and understanding friends.
But I had an event that hurt me in a way that is hard to explain.
I love this community and how it healed up those cracks, and I will always be grateful.
That was depressing. Seriously.
