Sequel is Up!

The (hopefully) much-awaited sequel to Smoke and Mirrors has arrived! The prologue of The Troubles of Changing Times is now up, and more will be coming! Unfortunately, I'm not sure when, since a combination of school and motivation issues means updates will be sporadic at best. Even so, if you enjoy the first chapter, look forward to them!

Smoke and Mirrors Side-Stories and Sequel

Now that Through Changeling Eyes has been published as its own story, I may just decide to publish the sequel to Smoke and Mirrors alongside TCE instead of waiting until it's finished before posting. The first chapter of the sequel story, called The Trouble of Changing Times, is halfway completed, and it won't take long to finish and get it up.

Alright, after getting some feedback from some comments on the most recent chapter of Smoke and Mirrors, I've decided that it may be for the best to delete the chapter, tweak a few things, and post it as it's own story. This way, it doesn't feel as tacked on to the end, yet we'll still get to see the story from multiple points of view.

The Royal Road AU

Now just in case you don't know, one of the reasons for the slow updates to Smoke and Mirrors is because I've been working on a collaboration with several other writers called The Royal Road. It's essentially a project focused on an AU Equestria based around the third crusades, so war and religion are both prominent themes in it.

The (hopefully) much-awaited sequel to Smoke and Mirrors has arrived! The prologue of The Troubles of Changing Times is now up, and more will be coming! Unfortunately, I'm not sure when, since a combination of school and motivation issues means updates will be sporadic at best. Even so, if you enjoy the first chapter, look forward to them!

As a side note, I will continue to update Through Changeling Eyes alongside The Troubles of Changing Times. While this means slower updates on both, I do not intend to abandon either of them, so I will continue to work on them both when I have the time. Sorry for the wait, I'll try to work more on them now.

I just had the weirdest experience of knowing the story was up before it was announced. Sadly, fics by less well known authors have priority in my update list, and everypony's been updating in the last day or so, so I might not get to this for a bit.
