    My Final Chapter on Fimfiction

Dear fans, friends, and fellow Bronies and Pegasisters,

I write to you now what will be the second-to-last entry of my My Little Pony fanfiction blog. I left my account dormant here on Fimfiction in the event that I return to write one last fanfiction.

    My Next Chapter on Fimfiction

Alright, I know I said I promised to finish Twitanic and In Holy Maretrimony. Let it be known that I am a mare...er...colt of my word. I have a HUGE collaboration coming up, and so I'm gonna basically write these bitches as fast as I possibly can. I might just go ahead and write the conclusions, even though they will make no damn sense. But trust me, it will all be worth it when you

Can Somepony Answer Me a Question?

Alright, I'm pretty familiar with Fimfiction now, even with the new design (which sucks Big Macintosh's balls, by the way). But, I've been monitoring the homepage, and I don't quite understand something. And until the other day, when I saw ChaoticNote's fanfiction, I really didn't think to ask.

My Belated Opinion About the Season Finale · 4:09am Feb 21st, 2013

Alright, now since this isn't my writing - this is just my opinion - I guess I can take criticism a little more easily.

Okay, here's what I found wrong with the Season Finale:
- It was too rushed
- Princess Cadence made an appearance but didn't have a line (okay, that's not THAT bad, but I love Candence!)
- It was too rushed
- Sure, the wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence - all hell breaks loose, but Twilight's coronation, sure, nopony has a stick up their plot about that!
- It was too rushed
- Twilight just accepts her coronation. She doesn't freak out or question it or anything - or even becoming an Alicorn! I've been screamed at by people by how Twilight just "accepts" things in my fanfiction - and this was the real deal!
- It was way too freaken rushed
- It was like watching Les Miserables again with all that freaken singing!
- It was just way too freaken rushed!
- Playing off on the "rushed" bullets, the conflict was way too easily solved. Everything was just rainbows and gumdrops for Twilight. The last time we had a Mane-wide hazard, we took 5 minutes to get Rainbow Dash back. In this episode, we took 30 seconds to rescue her. And though I sorta felt distressed about Equestria for the girls, my worry did not last. I felt worse for Daring Do in the dungeon when she was about to be swallowed by sand - and that's an adventure novel: I know she'll be alright!
- That eerie space thing was a nice touch, but it had no emotional carry or charge on it when I felt it should've
- When the sad scene finally came, I was too busy still laughing at the checkerboarded clouds to feel sorry for anyone. And I almost cried during "Keep Calm and Flutter On" (also a little rushed at the end; I felt that episode was two-parter worthy, and based on "Magical Mystery Cure," I think we should've just waited till Season 4 and MADE it a two-parter).
- What the fuck is gak?
- Why is it called "Magical Mystery Cure?" Sure, that's what the main conflict of the episode is about, but really, we spent four weeks advertising about the Coronation, not this interesting conflict which, based on the episode, wasn't as tragic as I envisioned it to be. Frankly, I thought I would turn on my TV to find an episode called, "Equestria Coronation, Part 1" or "Twilight's Coronation, Part 1" or "A Canterlot Coronation, Part 1" or at least, "Magical Mystery Cure, Part 1."
- Twilight's wings were way too freaking big! Seriously! Look at those things! They're as big as Luna's! If not bigger! And Luna's twice the size of Twilight! Twilight's a small pony, and if I'm ever gonna get used to Alicorn Twilight, she needs to get wing reduction surgery. What's wrong with the size of Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash?
- And, once again, I'm sure we all agree: it was like taking a plot as sophisticated as The Hobbit and craming that two-and-a-half-hour masterpiece into a twenty-two minute episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Yeah, that just sounds bad!

Alright, I think that's everything. I mean, I've had Counterclockwise dissected and ridiculed by he who will not be named more than that, but I think I got everything.

In celebration of this disappointing finale (in my humble opinion, of course: if you enjoyed it, kudos to you), you may notice that I changed my avatar to a sad Alicorn Twilight image I recently acquired.

Here's where some happy news comes in. My brother (also a Brony), after watching the episode, walked up to me and screamed, "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?"

That's good news for me, proving that I'm not crazy. He also told me this very interesting fact which I think most Bronies (such as myself) are unaware of: in order to be considered an "official" TV show, a television program must produce 65 episodes before cancellation (or something; I'm paraphrasing). And, as you probably just figured out, "Magical Mystery Cure" was Episode 65 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. So, God forbid M.A. Larson and Megan McCarthy drop dead, the show can end, and "Magical Mystery Cure" will be the official finale (this show would not survive with Williams as the lead writer...maybe Polksy. I've gained respect for him since "Too Many Pinkie Pies").

However, since they are making a Season 4, one of two things will happen:
- Either Twilight's wings will remain permanent, or
- They will be stripped (somehow)

Who knows. Maybe they'll just throw us a birdie and say, "It was all a dream."

Also, this is just also my own opinion: although having Twilight become a Princess is a fair way to end the show (after all, what kind of bullcrap is that?), but it also introduces a new palette of lessons from Princesshood. I've sorta played off in this by having the same thing happen to Twilight and alterting her fate in In Holy Maretrimony. Instead of becoming a Princess and having the Brony Community freak out, she instead falls in love, gets married, has a kid, and learns about the magic of marriage and motherhood.

To me, there is a better way to end the show. At the beginning of "Friendship is Magic, Part 1," Twilight asks, "...I know I've heard of the Elements of Harmony before...but where?" Leave us in suspense for eighty seasons - I don't care. But you cannot conclude the show until you answer this God damn question! Frankly, I'm still interested in figuring that out, since I assumed that when she wrote that episode, Faust had an answer. Plus, that's a difficult question to answer, and will take at least 44 minutes of air-time to explain (i.e. a two-part episode).

Phew! What a mouthful!

Thanks for reading!

Am I the only one here that thoroughly enjoyed the finale?

Phew! *wipes brow*

851356 Like I said: I'm happy for those who did enjoy it...I just didn't as much as I anticipated. I still think my favorite of this season was "Too Many Pinkie Pies." That was just a freaken ADORABLE episode! :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

I like your new avatar btw:twilightsmile:
And yes, it was rushed, but how else would you expect them to get that much in one episode?
Her wings are royal wings, and i think she also grew, making her as big as Cadance and Luna.

Cheers!

I loved it too:pinkiehappy:
I find it kind of funny that my 9 yr old sister only started watching mlp after my 17 yr old brother showed it to me and her

851677 Thanks, man. And, I'm not sure if I said this in my blog, but I thought it was gonna be at least a two-parter, and even with the coronation and everything, I think if they had a 44-minute runtime, they probably could've squeezed in everything. "A Canterlot Wedding" was not rushed, and we spent half the episode hating Princess Cadence until we were sure she was an imposter. Which I'm glad, 'cause I find it hard to hate someone so...Twilight-esque.

Yeah lol
Ive also heard something about a three parter (meaning there will be two more episodes that continue off of this past one)
I might be wrong.

854336 I doubt it; I heard the same thing. But this is the Internet. It's the Liberty City of the real world. Determining what is reliable and what is simply gossip is like trying to determine who's the real Pinkie Pie in a mob of Pinkie Pies when it's totally not blatantly obvious.

I heard it from one of the writer's posts
