Season 3

Well, as the rumors said, Twilight is an Alicorn.

I'm actually not as mad as I thought I'd be. The way they ran with it made it make sense. But, what does this mean for Man of War?

Twilight changing will happen in third arc. I made the promise of keeping the story canon up to season three, and I shall do so. But after this, I don't have to follow anything they do for season 4, though I may bring in any cool enemies or slice of life things. Why, you ask? Well, all I can say is that it wont matter for me. In the story, SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER, so then SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER, but then Miles will SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER, and then Celestia SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER, which will let Twilight SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER and thus, I don't give a fuck. It will make sense, that is my goal.

P.S. If you are reading this and second arc isn't over yet, POST OC's! The arc will be going so fast I may not have enough time to warn you to post. So if you're holding out till the end, NOW IS THE TIME! DON'T WAIT, DO IT NOW! I NEED TIME TO WRAP MY HEAD AROUND THE CHARACTERS!

P.P.S. Just saying, posting a non-pony/zebra character will have a better shot of making it. Just saying.

Funny thing. I actually JUST made a blog post about the stuff "What this means for our fics", and I got a good solution. Wait here, I'll copy it right in here. The part with the idea I mena.

To say the change is for the better or the worse would be hard to determine. A lot of unexplained stuff in canon creates creativity (alliteration yay), but it also creates discussion and argument resources. "Yes, she is the alicorn of stars." "no they never said that!" "look at the stars in the background and her cutiemark!" "This could all be symbolism for the whole ponykind! And it was already said that her talent is magic, not stars. Luna is the alicorn of moons and stars" "No, she is just the moon. Stars are no moons!" and so on and so on.
I personally would suggest, to split fics or add another tag on the site. Just a tag named "Pre coronation" or something, in case someone doesn't want to read fics with Twicorn. In the end, if we separate the two time periods. Pre coronation and past coronation, we have effectively 2 universes where the possibilities are endless again. Other settings, other time and stuff. Oh, I think I'll come right to that and put that in the descriptions of my two stories.

Your story is not obliged to followe the expanding canon. Look at the old fics, where Luna still had her blue mane color from season 1. You didn't care if they didn't change it, did you? Just keep it there, and don't worry. Just divide your fics into Precorn and Pastcorn. Think that wouldn't annoy your fans. Or just enter the "alternate universe" tag. You can do everything in the alternate universe tag.

The scary thing is, I spent way to long looking at the words up there that weren't "SPOILER" trying to peace together any clues I could. I'm both happy and mad I used my question on zombie related things. Happy because I didn't spoil anything and I get to enjoy it as it happens, mad because I didn't spoil anything and I have to wait until it happens.

As for season 3, not a bad season. I think I'm still processing parts of it. I'm still working on my plan to raise a billion dollars and buy Hasbro then rehire Lauren Faust and give creative control of the show back to the people that actually made and awesome show to begin with.

All that being said, I'm seriously thinking of submitting an OC named Ricky. He was an Ensign in the Equestrian Royal Navy. But knowing you, you wouldn't kill him.
