It's done.
I'm sorry, but I no longer have the drive to continue with ACH.
That's not to say I won't keep writing, but the characterizations of Shy, Imago, and even Twi are all wrong. The mythology of the Changelings has been significantly changed, and, most damning of all, I am just not interested.
I am honored I got so many, let alone ANY fans for this, and I will continue writing, but.. just not this.
Besides, I think you all deserve better than a pseudo self insert X Shy romance, true?

I've been wondering when the heck it'd be continued! Especially after I just very recently went to the (sort of) trouble of watching ya. 
Not sure how the mythology has been changed (if you don't mean your own headcanon), since they haven't really been brought up again in canon since the Royal Wedding, but... 
if this is your decision and won't at least rewrite it at some point, then will respect it. Maybe the characterization/dialogue was a little choppy, but at least it was readable. 
And wasn't aware it was a self-insert, though... personally, self-inserts don't bother me much, even if it is sometimes considered or IS a wish fulfillment kinda thing. I'm not picky exactly, though.

It'll probably be re-written, and Imago wasn't a self insert, but a kind of wish fulfillment...
And I'm glad you'll continue to watch me. "The Threat" which is the next story I'm working on, is roughly a third of the way done, and I'll likely post a preview of it to keep my fans interested, and to show I'm still writing XD

Just saying, but anyways. So, does this mean you'll just replace Imago with more of a unique changeling with more differences so he's not 'you' in a sense? And work on characterization (dunno about dialogue, as I haven't read it in a while, was just vaguely recalling out of hundreds/thousands of stories/chapters I read on this site
) and such, without possibly affecting the plot TOO much? I just wasn't sure before (though usually when someone says what you did, it means they're cancelling with little or no hope of picking it up; even though never used the word cancelled), since did sound like was cancelling without bothering to re-pick it up, which I hate when someone does (even though I did it once on my very first story I wrote for real with some effort put into it at first, that later didn't put as much into), but know they have their own reasons for doing so. Since the whole Scootaling part was interesting, even if on this site, there are still or a while back, were quite a few stories with somepony who was ALWAYS a changeling, but didn't know (not in your case) or turned into one (namely Twilight), etc. 
And of course I'll still watch you! Didn't just watch cause only had one story that I sorta liked (well partially XD), but also cause I thought I should! Would be rude of me to unwatch just for cancellation of story I watched ya for, especially after JUST did it matter of days ago, I recall. :p And cool! Dunno what it's about, but if it sounds interesting, I'll definitely give it a read (as I said, not TOO picky, but if it sounds weird or written badly or possibly downvoted cause of poor writing/quality (even though not always the case) or it's possibly a crossover with something I don't know anything about, then won't check it out or attempt to at some point; not that I expect it to be any of those).
You are aware you can have MULTIPLE headcanon, right!?
For Luna's sake, I don't have a solid base canon, that is simply too freaking limiting.

I WAS going to wait until after this story to post it, but I think I'll post "The Study of a Changeling." Before I put up 'The Threat' to better explain my own head-canon on them.
