Yes, our show, because it is. I'm not one of those self-entitled idiots who thinks that the show should change and fit MY wants and needs because well, since I'M a Brony, CLEARLY I run the show. Ingrates.
But it was ours, in the same way that Derpy was ours. Something we cherish and love, and that brings us together. Keyword, sadly, is was.
While I attempt to be ever hopeful of our treasured MLP, I'm afraid to say I do believe the show, and our fandom, is dying.
I've heard confirmation from other authors that that "fake" post regarding Alicorn Twilight, was in fact, true. And while I could be ok with that as a concept, not with the show the way it's been going. Also, there's more news.
Now, we can only hope these turn out to be wildly over blown rumors, perhaps merely covering every base to protect their IP, but...I don't know anymore, I truly don't.
Like so many before it. Our beloved My Little Pony seems to be falling prey to the worst group of bloodsuckers the world has to offer, a fleet far more numerous, and FAR more ruthless than any Changeling.
Executives.
However, I do not write this to dump doom and gloom upon you, fair readers. I am here to bring hope.
For atop every storm cloud is a silver Derpy.
Yes, our show may be dying, driven to the land of Alicorns and Humans. But that does not bring the end. Humans and Alicorns are only two of the four Ponies of the apocalypse.
First, we know that the show is going to tank. Without our support, they'll lose many, but not all. However, let's not doubt the target audience, young girls, They are more than we give them credit for. I highly doubt they will stand for humans, just as us. With that market gone as well, the show will be left with the few die-hard Bronies that will support the show for everything. This isn't even mentioning, who do you think supplies most of the merch for MLP? The little girls? No. Their parents may buy them a toy or two, but no mother will buy them the trading cards, and all the toys, and the cloths...not as many as we Bronies buy anyways.
Two, the fandom will stay strong. I have seen this fandom through the best and through the worst, through the weddings and the Derpy-gates. We are NOTHING if not resilient. More over, what's stopping us from flat out IGNORING them? To pretend the end of S3 never happened, and to forget S4 ever existed? This fandom will stay strong. Lastly, look at Trekkies? Show's been dead for, what, ten years? And there are still fans. Still fan-fics. And I'm sure their execs drained them of all love and creativity to.
In the end, all I'm saying is, we do what bronies do best:
We keep calm, love and tolerate, and we stick together.

Executives are always ruthless this way. But that is to be expected.
Honestly, if this episode goes bad.... It never happened.
