    Moved!

I'm writing this from my new place, about 20 minutes away from my old place. This one is a condo, with about 500 more square feet, an extra half bath (for 2.5 total), a tankless water heater, and 2 count 'em 2 long flights of stairs - one up from the underground parking and one from the 1st floor to the 2nd. I haven't counted the stairs yet but it definitely works as cardio. I feel bad for my

    A good story

Quoted out loud to the room as I put my dinner dishes in the sink: "I just read a good story. Like all good stories, it was too short."

It was this one. As usual I'm ages and ages late to the party.

    The end of Covid?

My crystal ball is just as bad as everyone else's. Maybe even worse.
It feels like maybe we won't need to panic anymore. That would be nice. Maybe it's just the spring in the air.

If this ISN'T the end of Covid then I have a request.
Can it pretty please morph into something like turbo Ebola that kills you within 24 hours?
    The lingering is no fun.

    Dreams

I've become lucky enough over the last several years to have a re-occurring theme in my dreams. Not every night - I don't even remember my dreams every night, and then not 100% of the time when I do remember them.

Mostly, it's the old saw of flying, with a notable twist - I'm flying via telekinesis. Very pointedly telekinesis - no wings, no tech (which seems weird if you know me much).

Stories about the Princesses can be hard for me to swallow. Anything that touches on their immortality. I think we as humans tend to focus on the negative aspects of life, and thus most stories about being immortal come out sad, at best.

I understand, partially at least, that there would be quite a lot of pain and sadness in a very long / eternal life.

But I think there would also be, have to be, an equal or greater chance for happiness.

I think mortality haunts us all. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm getting morbid as the years march.

Either way, it has led to the genesis of a new MLP:FiM story I don't particularly care if I finish. If I do manage, I'll post it here, of course.

Edit a day later: Wow, melodramatic much, self?

Way later edit: I've totally forgotten what this idea was.
