So.... last night I hugged Pinkie Pie.
So you see, I had this awesome dream, (the rest of the dream isn't important, or doesn't make sense like dreams usually are...) and in it was Pinkie Pie! The real Pinkie Pie. Not the slightly scary one, not the one I picture in my head, but the real honest-to-goodness one. Voice, look, behavior, everything.
So in the dream I'd just upset her with a off-hand comment, something about a portion of the dream that was weird. Her hair had just lost it's poofi-ness when I did it.
I knelt down in front of her, held my arms out, and full-on HUGGED her. Said, "I'm sorry Pinkie."
She instantly RE-inflated that mane of hers and said in that chipper voice of hers, "It's ok!" She then giggled, putting her hooves to her mouth while I'm hugging her and said, "You guys aren't THAT much bigger than us! We're pretty much the same!"
I laughed and letting go of her gently pinched her flank and joked, "We aren't THAT alike! Your flank is so much bigger!"
Pinkie GIGGLED and said, "No you silly! You should've waited until I turned away, then pulled the cowboy, 'Hey there tuts!' joke!"
At that point I grabbed a nearby Pinkie Pie plushie (we were in a toy store), and using its cloth tail as a mustache said, "Hmmm... for sure!"
She giggled and happily said, "No silly! You need to use a REAL tail!"
And at that point I think she was about to let me use her tail as a mustache when it happened.
My stupid alarm woke me up.
Well... maybe they will show up in my dreams again. That'd be far more than 20% cooler. :)

Well, if Pinkie DID just contact me... I genuinely am glad I hugged her. Honestly, it just felt... Right. Like I was perfectly content and happy to just be there.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but regardless, it was incredible.
I'm about to go to bed! Maybe I'll dream of more ponies...
