...Life happens. Yesterday, I tried donating plasma only to find out my seizure meds keep me from being able to donate. That's not the worst of it. The nurse doing my physical couldn't spell the names of the medications I'm on, even though they were written in front of her. To top that off, she tells me that if I discontinue my seizure meds for 30 days, I'll be able to donate. Seriously? My seizure meds keep me from having seizures, so I can't stop taking it.
That's the only bad thing, though. I got caught up with work and ended up passing out from exhaustion almost every day this week. Except for Wednesday. Wednesday, I got engrossed in karaoke night at one of the local gay bars (no, I don't go there to try picking up guys, although I have seen quite a few cuties ). I did manage to get the nerve to finally get up on the stage for the first time in my life.
Anyway, on to the point of this post. Because of all this, the finale to My Little Voyager is going to be delayed again. Fear not, for it is being worked on.
Could you talk to the doctor about the nurse?

It's not her rules. It's the fact that plasma donation is a lot more complex than simple whole blood donation and regulations are alot stricter.
