Hey there, everyone! Welcome back to "Bible Times"! God placed this message on my heart, and I wanted to be obedient and share it with you all to help those in their walks with God.
Here's something you need to know about focusing:
Hebrews 12:2 - "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
God wants believers to direct their gaze on his son, Jesus Christ, acknowledging him as the origin and perfecter of their faith. By focusing on Jesus's example of enduring the cross, despite the shame, we are encouraged to persevere in our faith journeys, focusing on the joy that lies ahead.
By focusing on Jesus, we not only grow in our faith, but become more like him. This serves as a reminder for believers to keep their focus on Jesus and placing him at the center of our attention, especially when facing challenges and pursing the Christian lifestyle.
So, remember, God wants us to focus our attention to his son, Jesus Christ. He's our loving father who wants us to focus on living a holy life that reflects his character and aligns with his will. He loves us and wants us to show and reflect that love and trust in our lifestyle despite the struggles and imperfections, no matter what.
